Currently incoming models will be
9008G2 PBT or ABS (brown)
1008 ABS Brown (brown)

9008 Shine spec is NOT confim-ed yet, as it not yet officially launched.

Just got the info on the Ducky Shine.
It uses the 9008 Base design, and have varieties of Switch on choice.

Any difference for Ducky and Filco? Both seems to be very similar, and price also around the same. Just that I heard the manufacturer for Filco is also the OEM maker for SS 6Gv2 and 7G.

For ducky keyboards, i don't think it is that close with Filco,
you see:
DK1008 cost you RM299
DK9008G2 cost you RM389~ RM400
DK9008 Shine cost you RM399

all the above said price are Market Suggested Retailer Price (MSRP), and they do have difference with Filco (I think)

so far haven't got much info about RED Shine yet.

But as far as i know, Ducky will release RM1xx based Alps switch KBs. Expect below RM200.

my vote goes for Cherry. and i think most fellow would agree with my opinion
Alps are much more stiff compare to any Cherry ATM, i think. I never try much Alps yet so cant give much opinion.

New ducky with ALPS info not yet release. so i cant give much info ATM

I never try to soak the mechanical into water,
but by my own understanding of the mecha kb, i think it's somehow easier to repair compare to membrane keyboards, if got any chance the kb is spilt on water

it depends on what kind of liquid split on the internal of the switch, also what kind of material is that on that spring
If your luck really that bad and you split water on your KB, for brand like Ducky we manage to do it by replace the affected switch and that should work. Normally membrane won't works if you kena water..
