Just received my Leopold from cyclonechuah yesterday. The keyboard is so awesome.
I bought the Red and Brown variant.


Accessories include USB to P/S 2 converter, USB cable and free fullset keycaps.


My thoughts about it:
It is my first mechanical keyboard and it feels very solid. No matter where or how hard I press it does not flex. When people said that it is heavy, I never thought it would be really heavy... nearly 2 kilos (can smack someone dead with it).
The spacebar is edges is not rounded so it feel weird when pressing it with my thumb during games but I will cope.
The LED lights for Num Lock, Scroll Lock and CapsLock is really blindingly bright if directly observed perpendicular to the keyboard.


However, since the keyboard is not perpendicular to my eyes when I'm using it, the LED is bright enough to be noticed but not distracting.


The gold plated detachable USB cable is also a plus for me.


The mini USB port at the back of the keyboard and the recessed area where you can route the USB cable left, right or center.


Currently I am using the Cherry MX Red. The brown I want to switch the keycaps with the blank ones so need to wait for the keycap puller to arrive to make the change.
I tested whether the keyboard can play o2jam via USB and evidently it can achieve at least 7KRO via USB. Though right now I am connecting the keyboard using the included P/S 2 converter.


Both keyboard on my desk. The top one is Cherry MX Red and the bottom is Cherry MX Brown.

P.S: Is it just me or the letters on the keyboard seems smaller than normal?

Nice heads up, more selections for me to introduce my o2jammers friend when they wanted to get mechs keyboard.

Well can't comment on the size of the letters, but i can say it shares the same font/printing as the Filcos.

Is there a mechanical keyboard that comes with

1) red backlight
2) black/red cherry
3) Palm rest

I know the Mionix is the closest but it comes with green backlight

Hey guys, wanna ask one thing about Filco.

I visited their HP and found that there's something confusing....
Why Filco still label some of their boards as "NKRO" boards and some none (like the recent Majestouch 2 and Ninja series) while all their boards have support for NKRO? Or am i missing something here?

Not all FILCO is NKRO(infact, FILCO sell them(NKRO and NON) at different pricing).
FKB(N or blank) indicate whether it is NKRO.
Though, seems like gen-2 of FILCO all of them are NKRO.
May be cause the competition of mech kb field is getting more and more intense, thus they also need to increase their value.

Ducky mostly come by Default ABS unless you customise
Mostly NKRO under PS2 connection except 1009, 9008v2 even have NKRO under USB

My ducky 9008 white's Numpad LED just dies off.. I don't know what to do now...

Oh.... no wonder why i saw all the Majestouch 2 and Majestouch Ninja are all no longer labelled with NKRO.... since generation 2 already equipped with NKRO....

You buy from forum members or website? Try contacting your seller via call or email, ask for assistance, i think if buy from overseas quite troublesome when claiming RMA, the shipping cost need to bear yourself....

Yay, just got the leopold Cherry Red From TS to temporary hold before Linear Red comes... (or RBWSU/RBWS)

This blardy Red is sooo soft... good for DJmax Fever-ing, but for OSU wise, where it utilizes a LOTTTT of laddering / doubletapping, it sometimes overlaps due to the softness >.<

may get a brown instead of red in future, but typing in red is quite fun too.. soft and thanks to the softness, i don't really need to type, touch typing is fun to learn >.<

If you have some soldering skills, you can simply open the keyboard and resolder/change the LED.
I have fixed Ducky with poor soldering/ bad PCB...

This is why I always recommend Filco/Leopold only...
I owned/tested most brands in the market to prevent people from getting into such situations but few listen to proper advice...
