Just came back from Digital Mall earlier.

C-Zone do carry Filco Brown and Blue.

I am quite interested in getting one for work since I do a lot of typing, preferably Cherry Mx-red type.

Currently deciding between Filco Cherry MX Brown switches and Filco Cherry MX Red swiches.

Is Cherry MX Brown noisy?

Is Cherry MX Red relatively quieter than Cherry MX Brown?

Thanks.

I dont own RED but i think theoretically, brown will be more quiet.

Red is even lighter and less stiff(linear) than brown. I sure that will make lots of new users bottom it out all time,  LOL.

Brown on the other hand is okay for me to not bottom out so it is quite QUIET. wink.gif

Thanks for your recommendation.

I just ordered two Filco keyboards with brown switch.

My FILCO Red TKL came. It is certainly quieter than browns if you don't bottom out.
I find it really nice to type on, the cloud of b00bs rclxms.gif

Where did you get that from?

I am currently waiting for my Filco brown.

Filco Majestouch 2 here! First time on mech kb, hell yeah for brown switches  thumbup.gif Got it from C-Zone at Lowyat, one of the workers there are kind enough to allow me to test it out as well as having a go with red switches too. Dayumm for red switches, so soft..  tongue.gif To anyone looking for local distributors, i strongly recommend C-Zone, All-IT also sells them, but at moderno price levels, and its plastic wrapped, so dont think testing will be allowed  laugh.gif Typing and gaming totally feels much better  now, getting addicted  to these stuff, now i'm researching on keycaps for a replacement  to the filco one. Might consider getting a red switch tenkeyless.  rclxm9.gif

Nice, there are still red switches left.

I will go get another sometime this week.

Thanks.

Which C-Zone? Still have Filco Majestouch 2 brown switches?
*
Not sure.

I just saw one black switch and the other blue switch type.

Not many stocks left in C-Zone, Digital Mall branch.

Some photos as indicated earlier:

Go get a set on put on your FILCO too!!!
Too bad the keys get pretty dirty and you can tell, but not from the picture obviously.
Probably mods don't like this type of one lining? I don't know.
You already have 2 Blues from Razer, not enough?
*
Does your Filco red come with extra key caps (ie. WASD ones)?

The letters on PBT Ducky don't age well. They get dirty after a while.
If you're getting an engraved set, then that's a different story.

Sometimes, there are "ping" sounds coming out of my Filco brown switch.

Doesn't seem to happen to my Filco red kswitch eyboard though.

Has anyone tried Topre keyboards?

How does it feel and how noisy / silent it is?
