Frankly i don't really care much about live TV. Just don't want the annoying screen saver to keep popping up if no signal when turning on the TV. So just got indoor RM20 antenna and it works most of the time.

I'm in Melaka and there's still signal this morning FYI.

How you get the signal?

Still unable to get signal past few days. You are pointing antenna to which direction?

i assumed u have decoder or built in decoder for tv. just point the antenna facing the transmitter/station at ur state as been state in this forum / mytv web.

It was working fine more than six months. Just recently the signal strength and quality keep drop to none. Result piece by piece image and sound.

It is likely he is pointing to Gunung Ledang, which is still up. Bukit Tampin is still down.

Picture quality downgrade has been over a week, not just 2 days ago.

I had not watched DTT for a month. During Deepavali holiday I had free time to explore my TV and noticed that bitrate for MYTV channels became worse.

There's some explanation need to be made, i assume either their equipment borked up or they opted low prices, hence lower qualiti.

Transmitters unlisted here are all currently DOWN due to payment dispute between MYTV and TM.

Or maybe squeezing even more low picture quality DTT channels/ HD upgrade for some channels (again low bitrate) in the already full multiplex?

Now we kno that MYTV just lease the infra from TM, they probably just cramming everything in single mux so they dont have to lease additional transmitter to cut cost.

No money right? Each account pay some money, say RM100 to 'reactivate' DDTV for whole life like NJOI. Problem solved.... Hopefully

No. Money might end up in someone's pocket. This is their project, if they fail means they fail, no need to ask rakyat pay for their failure.

This is back like in the era of licence for TV. In the end it cost more to the gov to collect payment.

Yeah Gunung Ledang i guess. I just put it at the back of the TV. Signal strength around 30%. But it's so sensitive that if i put the cable differently the signal will be lost.

Now extra deduction for MYTV... More issues later on...
Better give TM or another company to run MYTV operations...
At least the shutdown of transmitter can be solved somehow...

Nothing's new so far, apart of the reduced bitrates.

One more week, our YB Gobind will make an announcement. Let's see how 😀

I agree. They are in discussion to solve problem, all we can do is to wait for public announcement by next week.
