About credit limit, does it count according to calendar basis?

For example: credit limit 5k, 1 Aug - 31 Aug, spent 4k, left 1k, is it the credit limit will start from 5k again on 1 sept?

LOL, so funny, hahaha. But then again maybe not, that's how the US government thinks (operates) too.

If credit card works that way, I think credit card debt no longer stands at 30 billion. More like 300 bil or 3 trillion tongue.gif

Hi guys, any of you guys link your AMEX card to PayPal? I tried doing yesterday's morning and until now I still haven't seen the code on my M2U to verify my account. Normal? unsure.gif

It took around 3 days for it to appear on my transaction history. Alternative, if you want it urgent, you could try calling Maybank to check if they have the code already or not on their system.

Paypal used to be faster but now it takes 3-5 days. You should see it by this weekend.

Just a word of caution, even with the 5X treat points, you are paying USD with AMEX which will have a higher than Visa/Master exchange rate.

Yeah, max 2 hours but I heard from my friend that went there to apply for the card last week, the machine is having some issue so could not issue the card in an hour. But they compensate RM 10 Starbucks voucher.

Erm, I think I'm aware about the higher exchange rate, but is it very huge difference?
If the 2.5% rebate can't cover back, I better use my normal VISA/MasterCard. laugh.gif

I think it is not much different if you use it on a weekday. Furthermore, you are paying cash for points which is not worth I guess. But if you use it on a weekend then is definitely a bonus.

So far, all my Paypal I bought with Amex has the same transaction date as to the day I purchase it. But to be safe, I always buy it on a Saturday night tongue.gif

Thanks for the tips! Yes, not worth to pay cash to exchange for points. I will use it on this Saturday's night.
Isn't foreign currency only 2.5% weekend rebate?
