As for redemption, I don't understand which website you are referring too that states it is only for Visa or MasterCard, because all Maybank cards i.e. Visa/MC/Amex with Maybank logo, rewards you with Treats Points and therefore can redeem for the same stuff AND also the TP are transferable between card accounts e.g. Visa to AMEX account.

anyways just sold off my tab for 1.3k. Going to top up rm300 and get Transformer eee pad. More value for money, dual core, OS 3.0 compared to 2.3.3 even after update. If want to sell off, better do it before Tab 2 official launch. Later price will fall like durian runtuh

If the payment is posted on 1 Aug, then no interest will be charged.
There's usually 2-3 days after Due Date, before the Interest calculation kicks in.

normally you will have 2-3 days grace period after the payment due date before they charge u for late payment charges + interest

i just recently got my maybank 2 card.

one question though, about 5% cashback, if i use it on weekend to fill up petrol and the merchant only post the transaction after several days later, do i entitled for 5% cashback?

yes, u still do..cashback follows transaction date, not posting date.

does bill payment via internet banking using mbb2 amex get rebate and 5x TP?

For petrol no problems getting the 5% cash back on weekends.


With online transactions, many do not get the 5% cash back, read previous posts or do a search. It depends on when the merchant processes the transactions.

my i mistake . Yes correct. I tried my new MBB2 Amex yesterday @Hypermarket & petrol station and today my M2U stated my TP 5X from what I speeded. Hopping that I can get cash back max RM50 next month.

Added on July 31, 2011, 11:59 amLet me share my experience, I had been tried to apply my 1st CC at MBB unfortunately I was rejected then after 6 month I tried again but still failed again. I gave up. What was surprised me was, after 2 weeks MBB CC number appeared in my M2u. Feeling like they wanted to 'jual mahal'. Good Luck

Just got my card from maybankard centre at 1U but have to wait 2 hour so i missed a chance to swipe at nando

CL only peanuts la,5K only . Hardly enough to pay for 1 of my supplier using paypal. How many months we have to wait before we can ask them to increase it?

I like to say this over and over again: Maybank credit limit is peanuts. I got only 6K, whereas my CIMB limit is 12K.

Don't know about other people.

same here, just requested for credit increased and got rejected. will try again 6 months later

I won't be wasting effort to get limit increase wit MBB as I know, it won't be that easy.
