4k? I thought all maybank CC shared the same credit line?

you said previous MBB Petronas. So that means you no longer have it right? So the the issue of combine limit is not applicable.

Mine too. I used to have Maybank2card amex + master + petronas. They shared the same combined CL.

I canceled my Petronas after that. The combined CL given to me earlier still remains the same.

No issue so far just that the promo will end earlier than the announced earlier which was supposed till 31.10.2011.

got the sms as well. I am actually surprised as this is the first time I heard that one can do ezypay with an Amex. Should have asked during Treatsfair instead of using my Visa....

But the TP for weekend spend was appear 1 day after. Can any 1 can confirm if use MBB2 AMEX at petrol during working day will get 5X TP?

hi guys, i need some advise here. especially those who are from banking background.
i applied the 2 Gold credit card today but my application was declined. this is my first card and i never have a bad credit record (i have a car loan and personal loan)
my basic pay is RM2500 + RM800 fix allowance. the maybank cs told me i can try again, but would it affects since bank already rejected it for once.

You guys must understand that since March 2011, BNM ruling is that for those earning less than RM36K, the CL cannot be more than 2X your monthly salary. So unlike last time, card issuers will increase your CL based on your usage or when one  request, nowadays one got to proof his/her income and banks cannot increase your CL without your consent.
When you got your CIMB card? Did they increase your CL over time? Many card issuers increased their cardholders CL last year hoping to retain their customers. Maybank did increase my CL early this year without me requesting.

That is only applicable for AMEX cards under MR system.

MBB2 AMEX is under TP system.

On the other hand, can any of you please confirm once again that the 5% weekend cash rebate for MBB2 AMEX is based on posting date or transaction date ? I'm talking about those transactions made overseas because i am already sure that for those transactions made locally, it is based on the transaction date. I just checked my M2U and i did not get the 5% rebate for the purchases i made on 30 July & 31 July in Bangkok. To add insult to injury, the exchange rate was high

Thanks. Yeah, my name is on the list. I did further reading from M2U website, apparently I was one of the top 300 spender. I must say thank you to my company coz mostly was amount charged for business travel! :-)

anyone having trouble seeing their treatpoints in maybank2u?
for the past week or so can't seem to see my treat points in the credit card overview page =/
when i click on the treatpoints link it shows:
