i just recently got my maybank 2 card.

one question though, about 5% cashback, if i use it on weekend to fill up petrol and the merchant only post the transaction after several days later, do i entitled for 5% cashback?

hi all, i need opinion or perhaps advice on what to do if i am stuck in this scenario

my younger sister would back for her semester break from indonesia tomorrow, on which i promise her to bring her out for shopping her heart out and i am planning to use my credit card. to be honest i never use my credit card other than just pumping petrol and small groceries shopping.

tomorrow i will bring her to shop lots of girl items and my shopping budget would exceed more than rm3k. my AMEX (which is maybank 2 kad) shared credit limit is way more than that. the scenario that i worry about is what happen when i bought lot of item one shot and need to pay more than thousand ringgit and all of sudden my credit card rejected? i am planning not to bring lots of cash by that time and i am sure it will be a very shameful experience. please advice.
