Most of the iOS5 features are taken from Android and I don't feel its way better that our Honeycomb. There are still so many things that iOS cannot do for example easy file management, true multitasking and widgets. iOS5 certainly has polished the user experience this time round and Apple's strength is the iPad2 hardware. Honeycomb makes the tablet experience like a PC by giving power to the people and power of computing. iOS tends to limit everything you can do with a tablet and I think that is one of their biggest mistake. Even Apple fanboys are saying Apple no more innovation, Google is.
*
exactly..i think android is more innovative than ios but no doubt, apple knows how to make ios fast, stable and appeal to the general public compared to android. But what i really hate about apple is their sheer arrogance thinking that everything that they do is new or something "revolutionary". Apple did a great job back when they introduced the iphone, but now it is being surpassed by android is many many ways...only issue with android now is fragmentation and also the user experience which is still not up to mark (in terms of speed, not visually).

Wanna try ipad - forget about the present models. Wait till iOS5 is available on it or iPad3 - speaking from my 8 months experience using the iPad.
With iOS5 coming up,  the android's Honeycomb I must say is indeed way behind in features. Google need to work harder on HC else I forsee its market share will definitely lose out considerably to iOS5 ipads. With present iOS4 ipads there is still some competition
Many users got suck into iPad mainly because of apps availability and the extremely smooth and slick user interface which is unbeatable yet. Just the UI alone will convince most new users to buy it without considering its weakness
*
Don't think HC is way behind technically, but as a whole, especially from a new user perspective, it would seem that way.

UI slickness and lack of bugs in an OS are basic things for a good user experience, which Apple succeeds in exceedingly. And while they seemed to lack certain features like proper notifications and mandatory iTunes sync, iOS5 definitely is closing this gap away.

My biggest qualm with Android is how everything seems good on paper (tech specs, think big numbers), but actually picking up a device itself and using it unveils different quirks like lack of sleekness, different minor buggy-ness in the OS and what nots. If they can overcome that come Ice-Cream sandwich and push in a few new big features, think Google is in a good place to clearly surpass Apple.

Edit : Sorry for digressing from main topic per title, but thought this is somewhat relevant.

haha... i'm not that good until can cook my own custom rom, just hope there would be ppl that can do that... currently processor speed can be made up using overclocking, and already got ppl hitting 1,6Ghz without harming the CPU... so browsing should be ok, video... if mVideoPlayer have hardware decode, it'll be perfect as well, but so far, tala... haha
and, with tegra 2 graphics, i feel like our device is underutilized with the game titles available out there, i don even feel any lags from tegra zone titles, maybe that means they can push the graphics to a higher level... just hope more quality games that iOS have would be ported to android with same/better graphics, GT Racing and all, where the texture have been massively downscaled

nope.

very sure vibrate is only found on phones and not tablets. dun see any reason why there would be vibrate function on a tablet.

The shop I bought from in LYP accepts credit card and their unit is local unit. You can arrange with your credit card supplier for instalment payment.. but i think there will be interest charged.

vibrator can be use mainly for haptic feedback during touch screen activities or keyboard usage.

other than that, games can also make use of it to enhance the gamers experience ala ps3 dual shock tongue.gif

other usage of vibrator, u can think of it yourself sweat.gif
