I already gave them a piece of my mind on their fb page. I've never been so disappointed in a product. First I get a half product even when I paid in full. Next I get a half working android market. Plain sucks.

I like your reply. The pad is useless without apps. Check out this reply from Angeal Nero from Asus FB page "Actually Android is under google, some customer they dun know how to install, actually have to download from Pc,then install by Micro SD Card,i also no professional use android,i just learn two day only."

Reading these posts just gets my blood boiling.
I tried those stupid proxy settings but it just didn't work and it's not supposed to be like this! Getting angry birds just makes me angry.

They didnt say wor, but i did ask when can they get the market refity , they says asus is working closely with google to resolve it. I told them i want my money back if it is not resolve by 1st July, A pad that cannot get apps is good as a chopping board only.

Check out Asus's FB page. The docks will be available latest by this Friday.

Also, it looks like the market issue has been resolved. I can now download both Angry birds without resorting to any proxies.

I supposed you're Malcolm Lim? I must be the most hated one in that thread. LOL..

Oh now we can just collect our docks. Too bad I finish work at 7.30 today..sigh

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Jun 7 2011, 02:48 PM)
its good news but i called up evernew they themselves not aware of this, sounds like asus malaysia havent conveyed the message to them yet, probably they will do so soon enough. Also they only mention 150, there should be 200 not 150..i posted my reply on facebook but doubt they will reply back.

LOL, I'm the one with a total of 4 entries so far. Can we demand that the dock be shipped/courier to us? biggrin.gif

Most of us don't have a dock because we've been deceived my false marketing. I wish I can help you but I can't. I'm still waiting for my pre-paid dock. Lol..

The longer they delay our docks, the more furious ppl get. It's pretty obvious on their FB page. Seriously guys, will u ever buy from them again?

The case, to be honest, looks like "$hit". I don't use it either. So it's not a consolation that we were given a "leather" (it's not leather!) case. In summary, we have been had..badly.

They haven't called me up either but at the rate I'm posting on their FB wall, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't call me at all. biggrin.gif

Am i the only one here that finds that the dock is near impossible to use? its so unresponsive and many times i cant even get it to type. For example, using the standard android browser, i can,t freaking type in the comment box. Im now using Dolphin browser to enter this post. The keyboard is too small and the keys are placed too closed to each other. Man I miss my Macbook Air. Tried to use it as a netbook but its just too slow. Now I wonder what the dock is for?

Yeah, for now the only thing i ike about it is the 2 finger srolling on the touch pad. Much easier than draggin the screen to scroll

Was at digital mall today wanting to uy 3 notebooks for the office. The Asus has the nicest looking ones (for RM 3K).Then I realized I was actually in an Evernew store. Changed my mind and got got 3 Vostro notebooks instead. Didnt wanna be burned again.

BTW, what browser are u guys using with the Transformer? i tried Maxthon just now and I still think Dolphin HD is the best of the lot.

I wished the right shift key on the dock is larger though. I'm not used to using the Left shift key. Damn!!

The reason why i like Dolphi Hd isthe ease of access to the favourites. Just use 2 fingers and swipe to the left. Viola, couldnt be easier!

As with all mobile devices, opening tabs seems to make the browser more prone to crashes. So far, I'm liking it a lot using D olphin HD. At least it feels like typing on a proper desktop browser, albeit a bit slow. But sometimes, I wonder why I'm not using my MacBook Pro instead. LOL! Lets see how long i can torture myself.

BTW, I hope I'm not asking a repeated question. oes this thing play mkv files natively? I tried to open a few 720p files and i get the "open file failed" error. Can anyone recommend me any media player that works with Transformer?

Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, did a simple google and i'm going to try moboplayer and see how it goes.

Thx!

Ah, that works.Didnt know there is an additional setting in the Display section. Thanks guys!
Anyne of u find that the keyboard presses are not as sensitive as a "normal" keyboard? I find myself missing letters pretty frequently.Look at the "Anyone" from my previous sentence. A very common occurence. Kinda annoying sometimes.

^^ What channel is your WiFi on? If it's on the high side, i.e 11,12,13, try to bring it down to like <8?

I remember my Samsung Galaxy S II wouldnt connect to my Wi-Fi too but after bringing down the channel, it works. Give it a go and see if it helps..
