FF on TF. seems ok. i kinda like the interface. clean. but i only played around for like 30mins. din have time to test it out. but i need it to be able to change the agent string. since cannot, i will probably just ignore it for now.

as for highlighting links... ya, i sometimes wonder if i clicked on a link or not. wait 20seconds, see nothing... end up having to click again.


use a screen protector that has got some anti-fingerprint (actually oil) feature. it should reduce the fingerprints on the screen. however, not sure if there's a SP specially for TF yet.


me thinks it will come year end. read somewhere that the padfone will be using this version. i assume that means TF can also be using it.


saw some message abt some updates this morning when i turned on my TF. clicked and was hoping to see what was the update... but it just disappeared. is there a way to check the logs and see what was updated?

as for country error. i had that last night when i tried downloading some apps, ok... games. i din have my proxy enabled. will try with proxy enabled later.

Yday when I turn on the machine, it auto downloads the 3.1 firmware and keep telling me there are some apps update. I tried the updates like the google map, everything done smoothly.

the TF is nice, but suddenly i feel like buying ipad2..

its available for US only so nope

@irenic since i saw you mention you tested 1080p movies for the phones... did you also test it out on TF? how was it?

I did tried... and it won't work with US Proxy... or maybe I don't have the luck?

sgs2 and sensation are way better than TF in video playback..

moboplayer is smooth, but no audio.. so for some files need to use the stock video player which is not really good..

Anyone tried to charge your TF on USB3.0 port?

i can... but it'll take some time coz i got the apps i need for now. going to just look at other features now -- ebook. trying out the myLibrary apps that comes with the tablet. this being my 1st android device and such, need to understand more abt ebooks, etc...

plus, owe a few friends a review of this tablet. waiting for the dang dock so i could say i wrote the review using the tablet + dock.

i guess it should not be a surprise since TF is 1.0GHz while Sensation and SGS2 is 1.2GHz, right? but also, can't compare fairly since all are using different chipsets (if i'm not mistaken).

nope.. it's not the processor.. it's the codec that is lacking in TF. for example, 1ghz single core SGS is better than dual core motorola atrix in video playback.. because SGS has codec built in the device..

any reason why? or saje kena poison by mr jobs?
