Well... in my case Kaspersky got it's own firewall... Put my local network in trusted list and voila... i can connect to my network share... Try disable anti virus maybe..?

how to use gps on eee pad?

you can use google maps (or was it navigation -- can't remember... it should already have been pre-installed). i think could be my location or sth...

its quite simple to use though. i tried it out... you will get text instructions on how to reach your destination. there's no voice navigation at the moment for Google Map but there's a way around it... needs rooting.

silly me... just remembered i have the TF with me today @ work.

its called maps. at the top right, you should be able to see some icons. the diamond icon with an arrow is the directions. press that and select your location... the instructions will appear after that.

Evernew is really a screwed-up company. So many complaints, yet still do not buck up. How long more do you think they will exist in this day and age??

By the way, Skype is now available for download from Android market. I was told that it now supports video call as well but couldnt find that option in menu.

According to Skype... Video call only supported for certain device... But you could try the hack version @ XDA...

It's not available for now... Maybe next month or September... But with 3G version you will sacrifice Micro-SD card slot on the tablet... a bit downside for those who not buy with dock...

BTW anyone on custom rom try plug-in 3G USB modem..? Some one from modaco try and it's seem they make it work...

ive installed Volume+. There is a free version from the XDA site, last time i installed and test. It didnt work. But recently, I installed and use the flat setting and boost the volume to max +8. Wow, now is much loader. The speaker cant handle it when you put to the max. It will clip badly. So have to reduce abit. But overall volume is much loader now. Recomended for TF but please make sure you reduce volume for some. Clipping the built in speaker may be a problem in the future.....

guys, the size of picture frame widget is 3x3 or 2x2? or it can be change manually?
sometimes the pict frame widget is 2x2 and sometimes its 3x3....how is this possible?
does the size change automatically sesuka hati?
