Yea, but i dont think id like to bring it around that much, the dock's a cool feature If you got a lot to type, but if i just wanna hang around at a coffee shop i wouldnt bring it with me

Saw some guy on youtube reviewing the case, but he's in UK, hope they sell it here too

oh, another question, has anyone of you have ever tried pairing it with the iphone 4 for 3G connection? thinking about using the personal hotspot function on the iphone so i can have internet on the go

I think u guys misunderstood me, i will be gettin the dock also, its just that i know full well that under certain conditions i wouldnt be bringing the dock. Thats where the stand case comes in

If need be ill probably just order it overseas, i wants it!!

i got a noob question, just bought the transformer (tab only, dock out of stock, meh).

looking at the first page, you guys are saying theres a firmware update. and it says there to download the update from asus's website.

but at the same time im also downloading from the transformer itself through settings>about table>system update.

noob question #1: are both the same firmware update?
noob question #2: are these updates concerning the android 3.1?

im really new to the android, so many things to learn about. have to study all this before i even think about rooting the android for iphone wifi hotspot.

Would appreciate any help from you guys.

Oh, and another thing, im having trouble installing maxthon for 10"tabs. you guys experiencing the same problem?

Have been playing around with my tf all day, all i can say is im growing happier and happier with it

1. Managed to get it tethering thru bluetooth with my iphone 4
2. Installed a number of apps
3. Customized the the apps and widgets

Nt much, but now this thing feels mine!

Btw, just found out that the good folks at asustransform.com have nt come out with a way to root my version of the tf,

My build number : 8.4.4.5 20110527

They said that any model after the build number stated in their current tutorial cannot be rooted just yet

Looks like ill just have to wait, until then, im happy with bluetooth tethering

I think shouldnt have any problems to connect between android and android thru bluetooth

Iphone bluetooth has alway been notorious with nt being able to detech any non apple device

Which is why i was happy when i was able ti pair my TF with my iphone 4, although it took a few tries

i ordered on monday, was suppose to go pick it up yesterday, but didnt have the time, so went to lowyat during lunchtime, and here i am , one satisfied customer

yea, ive read some of the posts here about evernew, but the person i dealt with (evean) was nice enough for me. i guess what im recommending here is the person, not the shop. but then again, the shop itself delivered what they promised, and when i picked up the dock just now they were friendly enough to handle all my questions and concerns about the dock before i walked out of the shop with it

some people had bad experience, i had a pretty good one, with zero hassle, so im happy

Just got my case, i bought the type B from mr Loh,

Liking it,i can also dock it while its still in the case, so thats a huge plus

Will post up photos when i have the time
