mikeeee > sometimes the recent app lists were way toooo many huhu...
did you guys noticed that if we use keyboard input as asus k/b instead of android k/b, some of the keys were off-placed eg. the alias @ key, if its on android k/b, then the @ is at shifted-2. if its on the asus k/b then its the key beside enter-key. is it supposed to be like this or my dock penin? QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Jun 22 2011, 04:32 PM) i remember few pages back got someone faced this issue, if not mistaken something to do with some country setting for the asus keyboard, maybe you can check that out. or just stick with the default android keyboard. Asus one isnt that great anyway QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jun 22 2011, 05:02 PM) Try goto settings, language not input and make sure all the selected language are US English. I That should solve the dock key issues for u owh...i'll checkitout....maybe it got something to do with country setting, i've set the language to UK as we use similar spelling as them.i'll try changing to US later, thanks ya! |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jul 5 2011, 01:20 PM) i haven't tried it personally cuz i don't have ipad charger with me ... but many have reported success in www well...i'll second that! maybe kind souls like cyberkewl can give it a quick test since he have all the necessary parts i've just mailed asus to comfirm if there's possibility to buy a separate charger from them and the usage of usb 3.0 male-female extensions, coz i noticed in other forums that some usb 3.0 male-female extensions does not work and some unlucky ones manage to damage (it rhythms!) their TF. hopefully they'll respond quick enuf |

i'm not really sure bout the TF turning back on when the lid is closed, doubting that any apps in background causing TF to turn on coz even when mail notification coming in, the screen is still off (when un-docked).
Did you noticed that every time we close the lid there's a click sound signaling the screen is turned off and locked. btw...how do you know its turned on with minimum brightness? hard to peak though huhu.... |

guys, silly question, it says that TF got 1gb RAM, but why does in running apps, I could only found a total of ~520mb only? -- the one that shows how many RAM is used (~140mb) and how many are free(~380mb)
where does the other 480mb went to? |

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Jul 5 2011, 02:23 PM) when u just close, u see it's total dark there inside, then u continue look inside, u notice suddenly bright again, then i try really slowly opening up the lid, and i notice the LCD is already on when the lid was tightly closed... not just causing more battery, might also cause ghosting in later months bro, check this out...it might help, stumbled on it when searching for the ram usage. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151788 Back to the ram issue, if out of the box the free space was about 14gb+, then honeycomb should occupy around 1gb+ right? considering that its a shared ram, then OS + Tegra should take around 500mb of ram. well...i think its an appropriate ram distribution even win xp needs something around that Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended) At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended) At least 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available space on the hard disk Added on July 5, 2011, 7:30 pm QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Jul 5 2011, 07:12 PM) that would be great This post has been edited by hellsphinx: Jul 5 2011, 07:30 PM |
