LHDN current bank is CIMB. If you write in FORM BE is CIMB bank for refund, they of course will direct credit to your account which is safer than post.
If you are not CIMB account holder, LHDN want to use post cheque, because the direct credit to diff bank account often encounter unsuccessful process.
*

Have a look at post #28, which included a letter from LHDN which mentions Maybank.

That makes your post about "not a CIMB account holder" inaccurate.

The statement is made by one of officer in LHDN. Maybe he was lucky and get the money. Actually, it happen on other company (CHGS) as well. The company want to direct credit the annual interest to me, it is not successful, but my friend has received the money. After there are so many unsuccessful result, the company decide send cheque to every investor.

And how do you know it's only one?

You don't - you just have maybe's and guesses, just like your previous post.

I put my MBB account number into LHDN form. They banked into my account directly. Perhaps there are others who get banked in direct also ? hmm.gif

IINM, you need to submit all the 12 months bank statement details (Jan-Dec 2010) which specifically states on the interest charged also.
e.g. rm500 interest per month x 12 = rm6k
If you put relief of 10k ... kantoi laugh.gif

Then, you explain why LHDN send cheque to me, when i am the maybank account holder. Please dont simply give comment with no strong support. And dont simply say just like your "previous" post, say which post is it.

This is a thread for giving income tax issue's comment, not kopitam. Please.

LHDN did bank in direct to my wife maybank account. Based on the current discussion, i would think that LHDN are providing 2 sort of paying method, either by bank in or by cheque. But it basically based on the amount u r getting or the convenience of it or based on LHDN own workload/difficulties, we never know exactly rite? At the end of the day, I'm glad they paid it to my wife though

Yes, LHDN is providing two methods of payment for refund.

I just called up to check on my refund status and they told me the cheque is ready to be posted out today. Then the girl also ask me if I would prefer that they bank in straight to my account. I'm pretty sure I did not fill in MBB account. I think it doesn't matter which account it is. Anyway, what matters is that in the end, you get your cheque/money back. smile.gif

Well, if the submission is correct, there is nothing to hide, and you'll get your dues back.
If faking it, then continue with the tidak apa attitude, and then continue blaming everyone else.

They would not need to look far. It is really only a matter of time before all of the departments/banks get their systems integrated with the LHDN, and then it will be a lot easier for the Tax Department to catch up with people who are evading tax.

BTW, if your business was not doing so good, does that mean that you were making a loss? If your company was loosing money, then you may not have even needed to pay tax when your business started making money (at least for a while)....this is because if your tax return shows that you are making a loss, then the loss this can be carried forward and used to offset your profits in later years.
