Wow, SCB going all out with the 20% cash back and their sponsorship of LYN Finance section is more effective than previous citibank's ad.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 30 2011, 11:15 AM) I only like activated the card yesterday and that's why did not bother checking online. But you and rockefeller are correct, there is RM70 shown in my account when I just checked online minutes ago Does this mean you don't have to swipe your card 3 times asap like you said earlier to enjoy it? |

Which part makes you feel that way? My take is that once you fulfill point 6, you are eligible. Continue to make payment for each month, if not will be disqualified.
Whoever still standing at the end of January and <20,001 you get the cashback.. |

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 31 2011, 11:01 PM) everyone is obsessed with the 20% My take is :-but I don't fully understand the tnc, does it mean only in January, you can be one of the 20k to fulfill the requirement? In the first place, you need to be the first 20,000 Bill Payment from 12:00am 1st November 2011 to be eligible. If you paid your bill on 30 November and not part of the first 20000, then you don't even qualify at all. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 31 2011, 11:26 PM) My take is :- In this case, the payout may be less than 20,000 customers because some of the first 20,000 may be disqualified. In the first place, you need to be the first 20,000 Bill Payment from 12:00am 1st November 2011 to be eligible. If you paid your bill on 30 November and not part of the first 20000, then you don't even qualify at all. Point 10: Under Part A, Eligible Customers must make at least one Qualifying Bill Payment in every Campaign Month, starting from the month of their first Qualifying Bill Payment. Customers who make a Qualifying Bill Payment in a Campaign Month, but do not do so in any subsequent Campaign Month, will be disqualified from Part A. but Point 11 says that first 20,000 eligible customers will get. The first 20,000 Eligible Customers who satisfy this requirement will get a 20% cashback for Online Bill Payments made during the Campaign Period, starting from the month of their first Qualifying Bill Payment. These first 20,000 Eligible Customers will be determined based on the date of the first Qualifying Bill Payment made during this Campaign Period. QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 31 2011, 08:21 PM) Not for the RM70 I guess because it is shown as credit in my account when I checked online. Guess I still need to swipe for the GST RM50. Shouldn't the RM70 be net of the GST RM50 already? My RM70 upon card activation comprised 2 entries, ie, credit of RM120 and debit GST RM50, resulting in a net cash back of RM70. |

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 31 2011, 11:33 PM) I can see their ad on the bottom of this page now To those at Standard Chartered, you can boost your market share in the local credit card segment simply by studying the kind of credit card Maybank and OCBC Bank are offering |
