Just called SCB CS to waive the GST and done immediately with 3 swipes any amount recently

Not good enough. SCB JustOne Titanium MC which gives 5% cash back for ALL transactions made on Fridays and 2% cash back for ALL transactions made on non-Fridays (subject to maximum cash back of RM600 per year) could easily beat your wish list.

My wish is to get a card which could give 5% cash back for ALL types of transactions.


I am an existing SCB online user and yesterday I made an online standing instruction for a payment of RM300 from my SCB JustOne Titanium MC to Astro to be made on 1-11-2011. Hopefully the transaction was automatically done at 12.00am today.

I never recall having any ARM code before and this is the first time I register for bill payment too.

Dont worry la, I am keeping my finger cross that the 20000 is still not yet filled for 1 week

Just applied online this morning...hope get approved

After some scolding and anger words, the ARM code was activated within 15 minutes...and made the payment at 12.30pm.

High hopes that I'll be in the first 20,000 Eligible Customers.. or better yet, win a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf RM10 voucher, or BEST, win the Macbook Air

1. Annual fee is RM800. But i think they still have the offer of 2 years fee waiver. For waiver of 3rd year annual fee, you have to spend a minimum of RM10k on the card during the 2nd year. I can't seem to find this in black and white, but this is according to my Relationship Manager.

2. Yes. The cash advance limit assigned to me is 90% of my credit limit. However, I would advise against utilizing this facility due to the high interest rate charged, except in the event of an emergency.

You do know that you have to be an SCB Priority Banking customer in order to apply for the card? AFAIK, this is the best card issued in Malaysia for domestic and international airport lounge access privilege.

why don't you just click on it

it is a function for you to replicate the payment details, so no need to key in the figures anymore

I have my purpose of asking, right?

Lets say you sign up with TM autodebit using OCBC TI cc with billing date on 15th of the month.
If you pay the utility bill using SCB cc with an estimated amount before the billing date.
Would TM still autodebit on the OCBC TI cc when the balance is -ve ?

IMHO, TM will still deduct the same amount (lazy system), so you get -ve amount next month.

But the bill will include the payment made using SCB cc and let say the final balance is Rm10 so TM autodebit should just charge rm10 using the OCBC TI cc.

ican confirm that if the balance is oledi -ve, TM will not autodebit anymore
