would like to ask about the extended warranty on the iphone 4~

if i'm taking iphone 4 white 16 gb
with i98 (12 months contract)

how long is the warranty period for my phone?
12 months or 24 mounths?

if 12 months, can i but the another 12 months extended warranty?

if u take 12 months contract the warranty is 1 year. the extended warranty apply to 24 months contract only, you can't buy the extended warranty

usually warranty starts from the moment u activate the device

it is a sealed~ if u dont want to open it juz ask them because they will open it to show you that everything is ok & you will check urself, if there any problem with dat iphone you can change it immedietly. That is the point of open it at the store

last time i visited celcom branch, they told me, celcom still wont allowed its postpaid user migrate to celcom prepaid line

what's the different between celcom biz and celcom exec plan? they look the same to me.. anyone can clarify the differences..

Nway can anyone clarify if the free sms/mms included in the plan cover for celcom to celcom only or to other netword as well. The call rate is preaty clear indicating for within network and other network.

No difference between exec and biz I believe. For biz you need a business card or something like that.

As for the SMS / MMS since it is not stated means all networks . Definitely confirm all networks as per T & C.

My friend wanted to MNP form maxis to celcom for iphone4 (postpaid-to-postpaid), but unfortunately, they say cannot... need to take new number... is this true?

go to a Celcom office, not an agent. definitely can port in.

yes at celcom office.. they say new instruction, cannot port in.. need to use 019/014 numbers

from digi postpaid > digi prepaid > celcom xpax > celcom exec > celcom i98~

now i'm on celcom xpax, but they said must change to celcom exec plan 1st, then just switch to celcom i98 in the counter(probably tmr or sat)

I dont understand, y all the trouble cant we just switch fr postpaid digi straight to celcom i98? Im thinking to port in too currently on idigi 88 with very bad 3g connection

mine is bcz i got a supline when in digi, so need to separate the account, so i change to digi prepaid, after that the celcom salegirl ask me port to celcom exec plan, then just i98, but i dw postpaid so i port to xpax, manatau at the end, also need to change to celcom exec postpaid just can change to i98~

just got my iphone4 white 16gb today..
the guy entertaining me said that most branch may have the iphones,
but the stock only available if u want register new number..
if u want upgrade from existing celcom plan to iphone plan, suddenly(magically) the iphone stock is finish for u..
because in the branch they seperate iphone dealer booth and celcom booth for paying bills n stuff like that...
so for the dealer, if they show the new number form filled up they can claim commission..(bcoz get new customer joining celcom, but actually already existing celcom user but crazy for the iphone4 )

anyway, to get the white iphone4, it need to be your luck and chances, coz the stock each outlet(blue cube) get is not more than ten units..
that is what the guy who entertained me said la..
if at big branches, sure got more stocks, but people coming to buy also many..

Same here, i went to celcom jln semarak and blue cube at wangsa walk today...they said no more white.
The lady at celcom jln semarak notvery frienly once i mentioned i'm existing celcom customer...she mentioned i need to wait 1 week if migrating from my current package.

I guess it's true that these sales person looking only for new registration rather than existing user...maybe celcom can look into this matter...

Does Celcom support Iphone voicemail system? Something like a number appears at Voicemail and clicking it will see a list of voicemail where we can play the voicemail.

Previously it was not supported and I set that button to call voicemail 1313. If celcom does support iphone voicemail system, please show me how to remove the 1313 dialing when clicking voicemail.

If you are talking bout prepaid the I'm not sure cause I'm using postpaid and I'm pretty sure can do MNP.

im asking.. if i mnp to exec20 and change to iphone package..

Hi, may i know how does the Iphone warranty works for Celcom? Like for Digi u get one to one replacement while Maxis you have to submit your faulty Iphone first before getting a replacement unit. Any idea for celcom?
