Wow V2 already - finally a great phone paired with the best plan and coverage. TS did a great job in putting up the rates as well. Hopefully its kept updated if Celcom updates the rates.

what's the different between celcom biz and celcom exec plan? they look the same to me.. anyone can clarify the differences..

Nway can anyone clarify if the free sms/mms included in the plan cover for celcom to celcom only or to other netword as well. The call rate is preaty clear indicating for within network and other network.
*
No difference between exec and biz I believe. For biz you need a business card or something like that.

As for the SMS / MMS since it is not stated means all networks smile.gif. Definitely confirm all networks as per T & C.

just recieve my bill.. the 300 upfront is for what? bcoz it didn't deduct the upfront payment RM300..
*
The RM 300 upfront will be split over 12 months at RM 25. WHich means your bill will get RM 25 rebate every month for 12 months.

Hi I dunno is anyone ask this before but I wanna know if the phone is lock when i purchase the phone from celcom? Cause i plan to get the phone through Xpax plan and maybe switch to other telco... is that possible?? and can i use credit card to do the purchasing??
*
All iPhones sold in Malaysia are unlocked. You can change to any sim card after you buy it even foreign ones.

And yes, you can pay by credit card.

As per T & C, there is no extra charge if exceed quota. Only speed throttle down to 128 or 256 kbps (can't remember which).

*
Yeah, I got that too. Wonder if its a glitch or they accidentally give me 5 GB smile.gif So far only average about 1 GB a month so can't really test that.

i just switched from maxis to celcom. But my facetime cannot activate. My carrier bundle is celcom 10.0. how to fix it?
*
If not mistaken, facetime can use over wi-fi only and not via 3 G.

What settings you referring to? If your WiFi is off, it will go to Settings to ask you on it.

my cycle bill is every 28th..

any info on how much additional data price? for additional 1 gb how much?
*
I don't think there's pricing for additional data under post paid plans. They just throttle down the speed.

Guys, this celcom plan although is cheap..but the 3G speed slow than maxis..sad.gif ..

I carry 2 phones - 1 Celcom & 1 Maxis. Celcom 3G availability and speed still the better than Maxis. But like the guys said, depends on area and time. Some more can use Iphone Wifi tethering on 3G playing PS3 online games (so you can imagine how fast it needs to be especially when it comes to multiplayer).

Been using Celcom plan for my Sparkling Iphone 4 white for the past 3 months, and its great.

No billshock, (for those who get it in the first month, it is not - just call their customer service and they will explain to you),

Super fast (use it to play PS3 online games via tethering!),

No battery problems (not sure why ppl keep complaining battery lag but my guess its all in the settings / jailbreaking).

And at the best price for 1 year!

When iPhone 5 comes out, hopefully Celcom got first dibs too.

Unfortunately I read most of us may be perplexed at the Celcom bill. Let me share mine on the i98 plan. Please note that I did not exceed any calls or minutes from the free given one (eg 200 SMSes, 100 mins offnet calls, etc)

1st month bill : RM 435
- Upfront Charge : RM 300 (remember the deposit you paid?)
- i98 for the month : RM 98
- Prorated i98 - RM 28
- Stamp Fee - RM 10
- 6% Tax for i98 bill : RM 6
- 6% Tax (one-time) for upfront Charge : RM 18
- TOTAL before Rebate : RM 460
- Monthly Rebate : RM 25 (knock off from deposit for next 12 months)
- Net Bill : RM 435.

2nd & 3rd Month Bill :
- i98 Charge : RM 98
- Service Charge : RM 4.38
TOTAL before rebate RM 102.38
- Monthly Rebate : RM 25 (again knock from Deposit)
Net Bill : RM 77.38

As you can see there is a high charge in the 1st month of the RM 300 deposit as well as whatever prorate charges you have. Subsequent months is much much much lower if you use within the limits.

Those who receive the SMSes stating that use up to 50% of Credit Limit, it is probably just the RM 300 charge being prorated throught the month. I also got it but I didnt bother because while their system is not that customer friendly, they still did not charge me extra or whatsoever.

Lastly, maybe a good experience to share. Went to China 2 months ago and I got a Data charge of RM 385.92 for downloading about 20 MB of data. Guess what, i got the whole thing waived off because of their datas unlimited roaming package and still pay only RM 77.38 for that month.

Btw, I not any particular telco supporter (I used all lines before) but most things are explainable. Sometimes their Customer communication may just not be that great.

wait, why did they charge rm300 on the 1st month??? because we have already pay for it when we get the phone....right?

Yes, it's already paid for wan. In the bill, there is a cell that states deposit, and it will show up here and obviously deducted first lah before the rest.
