We travel so far only to see this? This is the Tarako National Park? I wonder if they were rushing?

Cing Jing is another place, though like our very own Cameron or Fraser, but is quite nice. There are sheep here. Nice break for us who were exhausted due to the long travelling time from Taipei to KaohSiong for 2 days (plus a bad day yesterday due to bus breakdown and had to wait 3hours under very hot weather). Rooms are very very nice is another plus.

Their One Piece theme park is quite nice... too bad I was with my son and had to look after him. Miss all the rides but we went at a bad timing, weekends which means a lot of people with long long queues.

Its probably not based on One Piece, but rather the theme that was there when I arrived was based on One Piece.
They are selling lots of One Piece figurines and jigsaw puzzles, and people were buying them like crazy.
Didnt check the pricing though.

I think only MAS and AA for KK.
So far AA is the cheapest, unless u try KL or S'pore, but if u want to fly this year, I think too late to get cheap tickets. blush.gif

November is late autumn (avg 21.5 c), December is already winter (avg 17.9 c).
Maybe early November will be quite comfortable.

December in Taiwan is still mild-lah. I find Cameron Highland colder haha.. I was there Mid Dec 2009, temperature during day time is ~ 18C-27C!! almost similar to CH. during nighttime dropped to 13-17C...also similar to CH but the feeling in CH is much colder...hmnnn probably due to wet cold in CH compare to dry cold in Taiwan haha

17C is very nice weather to walk around. it's better to go during cooler season than hot season. hot season so hot that you don't feel like walking coz you'll get tired very easily and sweat alot. cooler season at least you just need to wear thicker clothes.

i'm hoping it to drop at least below 25C when i go... unsure.gif

Cooler weather, even you walk >5km you will not sweat..You only feel yur leg hurting at the end of the day haha...And 17C is very mild & nice weather...If you can stand Cameron Highalnd, no problem there during December.Jan/Feb probably cold bcos temperature can drop to 10C..That's cold!

From airport to Taipei Bus Station using bus will be NTD125 per person.
Basically, from Taipei to Ximending using MRT costed u only NTD16 per way.

Hence, definitely it wont be RM30 to RM50! Hope it's helpful smile.gif

How long it took the journey by bus to Ximending....

I think should still be ok for November and early December, like in air-cond room.
Except if you are so lucky the weather change suddenly. tongue.gif (eg 寒流)

Walk around ok, but sometimes you will feel colder if there's wind.
Depends on your mom situation.

Buying stuff, you mean clothing? I think mostly winter clothing during this time. blush.gif

There is a counter on the far left of the airport arrival common area. You can shop there. Last time I took the non-express bus that stop along the way when ppl flash them. Cost <NT100 I think ~ NT90 nia. and it goes all the way to Sheraton Taipei which is ~ 600m from Taipei Main ..good for me haha bcos my hostel only 400M away from Sheraton Taipei..There are lotsa buses there..the counters similar to those after you arrived at LCCT..they will also shout & call for you wan haha
