i actually think flexing is reasonable and acceptable as long as its progressive and predictable, else u end up with a tyre that is too stiff and uncomfortable.

Just changed 2 pairs of 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 ASY2. RM540. Original tyres of Conti Sports Contact 3 wear out in like 31k KM.
So far quite happy with the Goodyears...queit, good grip and very good wet condition tyres. |

QUOTE(dinwaja @ Mar 28 2012, 11:20 AM) dun go for that tyre la...u will regret if u buy it. when u do alignment,it is hard to get good align tyres u know...sure lari to 1 side esp to the left... bro im comparing between xm2 michelling and c drive 2 yokohamasome of my frens told me if their customers come for alignment and if the tyre is accelera, they know that it's gonna be a hard work...for wet,it sucks.so value ur life...spend more ya... price wise michellin 270 and yokohama 230 how abt comfort, handling and noise level. |

QUOTE(fixgd @ Aug 30 2012, 03:07 PM) how to know comfort tyre or performance? usually product descriptions, marketing, or just reviews such as from LYN would be sufficient.looking for comfort 175/50 R15? any idea where can get kumho SOLUS KH17? typically, softer tire compounds are more towards comfort, while harder/stiffer tires are for performance |

hello guys. i just changed my ducaro ga 165/55/r14 tyres to continental cc5 165/55/r14 for rm168 a piece. (include balancing, but not allignment as the shop can't do it for my Naza Sutera, dunno why though..) good or not?
the mechanic also said to me that for the same rim to change to 175 is possible, but not very good for driving, he propose me to change rim to 15" instead for 175 width, is it true? and he also said if i want greater balance while cornering, i can maintain 165 width, but put in adjustable absorber, making it stiff. what do u guys think?
