Not at the sidewalls, directly between the tyre threads. Many thanks!

QUOTE(yngwie @ Aug 1 2012, 07:02 PM) fix24311@ can I still use the same stock rim to fit in 175/55r14 tyres? Refer to 1st post in 1st page for better understanding. few useful link is there. if you want better handling, better choice should be 175/55/r14. slightly lesser tires' flex during hard cornering. Also, lesser chances of inner parts contact. then again, it's not advisable to drive harder in corner with naza sutera usually it was the lower profile tires which is always in front. but there are compromise between tires width and profile size / purpose. will it be too much a gap between 165 and 175? |

Hi, any recommendation for 14 inch tyres? Its for my sister's myvi...she uses her car quite a lot in town as well as NS highway. BTW we live in Usj. Will be good if sum1 can recommend a reasonably priced tyre shop around Usj or Sunway.
Thanks. |

Changed my tyres at BestDrive Continental. CPC2 185/55/16 @ RM240 each. Week 27 of 2012 tyres. Good tyres and their service is good too.

Hi guys, currently using CPC2 195/50 R16, which is the stock tyres for my fiesta.
Grip and noise level is great, but treads wore out in just a year, now nearly reaching the treadwear indicators. I do travel quite a lot though, these tires went through 40,000km. So I'm just wondering, is the treadwear normal, or is it wearing out pretty fast? Should I maintain these tyres (as in buy new, but same brand) or change to another brand? thanks in advance! |

QUOTE(danny_sp15 @ Aug 8 2012, 11:00 AM) Hi guys, currently using CPC2 195/50 R16, which is the stock tyres for my fiesta. I have just finished a set of 195/50/R16 CPC2 couple months back, this tire wears faster, I managed to clock 30k KM with this tire. Kajang -> Cyberjaya, no slow down on bend roads and spirited driving. Grip and noise level is great, but treads wore out in just a year, now nearly reaching the treadwear indicators. Or upgrade to 205/45/R16 |

Or upgrade to 205/45/R16 so i guess 40k KM is ok then.. just changed to another set of same tyres.. RM265 each.. thanks for ur reply. |

I just changed a pair of Michelin XM2 tyres at Hup Shun Tyres Sunway. Really satisfied with it! Very quiet and comfortable when cruising.

Looking for comfort & silent tyres. Currently on 195/50 CDrive, which seems to becomes noisier once hit abt 70% thread wear.
Am looking at PS3 or CDrive 2, are those 2 silent & comfort type? Oh maybe will change to 195/55 if it'll make a differences in terms more comfort & silent. Any advice? |
