Can all users share which firmware you are using? Is it illegal to talk about DIY firmwares?

Thanks biggrin.gif

HiMedia 900B is out!
Source: futeko and iboum.

Futeko price is 144.99 + 16.99 UK pounds (for international shipping), totalling 162 UK pounds - works out to around RM810.

Someone please post Malaysian availability and price ASAP, thanks!

Hi guys.

I just bought 1 unit of 600c. I'm using unify 5mb at home. But unfortunately, connection via wifi, most of the 600c available channels seem very laggy. Do I need to do any setting in the unify router ? Please help.

Hmm same case as me bro, 5mb unifi, quite laggy at times.

But sometimes it's the server you're connected to. Try few other servers biggrin.gif

I didn't set anything on my router though.

I am thinking of buying 600A. Can it play BDISO or BDMV or BD java with full menu and smooth playback and off course with DTS-MA passthru?

Realtek chipset so far can't display a full BD Java menu yet.. For smooth playback and DTS-HDMA and Dolby TrueHD pass through shouldn't be a problem..

sorry to ask this but i m using 600A currently and is confuse of it's *srt subtitles options. some of the HD movies i downloaded do not include the subtitles so I downloaded them separately.

so i copied the file and place them in the same folder as the *mkv files. but some of them can't be accessed during the movie. but i tried using my notebook and watch the movie and it's there.

is there anything i missed? thanks

you need to rename the .srt file to be same as the video file name.

I am sure that I did that too. I copy and paste the name of the *mkv file title and paste it on the *srt file name. blink.gif

but still nothing comes out. cry.gif

is the *nfo file important?

On the second image we can see the covert art of the song that is playing at the left of the screen.
This picture come from HIMEDIA promo for HD600a. Can someone tell me how to display these covert art ?
On my 600a the square on the left of the screen is always empty when music is playing.
All audio player on windows show the embed cover art in my mp3's or flac, but nothing is displayed on the 600a.
So the picture above is a fake ?
Do they use photoshop to put the cover art on the square in this promo picture ?
Is there a special software to integrate the picture in the tag, or a special name to rename the covert art in the folder ?

I have never failed to see the subtitle (mostly .srt) in my 600A.

Perhaps, try to post the file name of your .mkv and .srt here?

maybe for our reference, can you tell us how 'old' is your WD HDD? And which model is that? Is that the green EARS/EARX ? or something else?
