I stream movies from a NAS using NFS though so I don't have a connected HDD.  Where will I store the TTF files in that case?
*
hmm.. you can try putting the TTF files on a USB flash drives or SD card. nod.gif

its a firmware issue it was running some old 1.02 firmware ver. after upgrade to the beta firmware quality is great like I was expecting smile.gif

I do have couple of issues though. If I go in my networked drive isn't there any option where I can just type the name of the song or movie and the player displays it as its very difficult to look for it by going through every file....or plz suggest me some way how to do this....

What's the correct way to turn off the player? I normally press Eject button and then Off button but there is a msg appear on the tv saying that device is powering off unsafely or something like that. I'm afraid i might be doing something wrong or not following the correct way.

anyone has any solutions for subtitles overlapping each other especially watching anime with explanation translation?

I was using Samsung's media player that is built-in with the LCD TV and I do not have this problem. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello,my post wasn't in the good section. So I've got a 600A. When i skip from a chapter to another one on a mkv, it's not the good frame that is displayed. it is 1 or 2 secondes later than the good timecode of the chapter. I've got the good picture on the computer or on my blu ray player.
Have you got the same problem ?
When a mkv with 23.976 fps is playing and i display info with the remote, it says : 23.98 fps. on another one it says 23.97 fps. Is this player really 23.976 compatible ?.
Another problem is that the player don't want to play m3u playlists. Is there a way to make a music playlist on the pc that can be played by the 600A ?.
It takes so much time to make the playlist with the remote and most of the time the player doesn't answer when i want to save the playlist : so many minutes lost for nothing.
It's the first player that i have that can't play m3u playlists.
We are in 2011 and when a music is playing we cannot see the cover art. Is this serious ? even the cheapest player can do that.
No tag for flac ?.

Guys, i just purchase a Himedia 600B. Firmware running 1.0.3.4, using WD Green AV GP 1TB internal HDD

At first when im playing my video, everything was smooth for a few days.

Lately playing back the same video, certain scene has audio skipping.

Is this due to heat of HDD or some setting that cause this ? Anyone knows ? sad.gif

DO anyone know if the 600A latest firmware can play BDMV 2.0 menu? Just tried and seems to not load the menu just several files.

(I think it is BDMV 2.0 cause it does not load. How to check the BDMV version?)

Added on September 9, 2011, 2:19 amNevermind fixed it. Wrong setting in the "intelligent settings" menu. Need to set it to BD 1.0
