hi guys, can recommend me some place around cheras/kl to shop for players? beside jalan pasar

EA autoworks/KF audio/audio creations

google it for more info (trust me that you copy paste the names into google they should be on the top results)

Cheras/KL I can only think of 2 shops : EA Autoworks and Etoni.
PJ I can think of more : CV Audio, Audio Creations and a few others I haven't had interaction with.

there are literally hundreds of car accessory shops around KL and cheras besides jalan pasar.....

On the player,got socket.but the other half tarak..

both oso can... u can cut off the socket and direct install wires no problem... just make sure u know wat wire is for wat

actually i bought this just compare radio clearness between this clarion player and my current double din pioneer malaysia channel..
i've created a thread which is regarding hissing on my speakers when listening to radio.
switch to cd,damn nice and clear.
i've installed new antenna.,still the same.
so most of forummers told me that my player is about to dieeeee..
thats why i bought this..try first and if its clear,i can throw away the pioneer double din.

I detached the grounding from player..it still working..
Where is the most possible other grounding point that connected to the player accidentally?
I seriously need help regarding this.i cannot brain anymore.
I've checked properly.there's no other grounding point touching the player.but it still running fine.can play radio and cd.

if you have so much headache/issues on DIY, should probably just brought to a reputable shop, then you maybe can learn from there through observation/inquiries.

Now i know..
Yesterday i cabut the grounding its still running.
Then i cabut the antenna,the player mati.
So,antenna is supplying the ground.
No wonder reception not clear..
How to eliminate this ah?
I want the grounding from player to one point independently..
No other ground point..

this is common ground.....nth to do with ur radio signal

it's ground is the same as ur hu.....and all the ground are connected together...then u got ground after plug in hu..

my old Alpine is dying
CD still plays fine, but radio often blacks out for no reason. need to off the player for a few mins and on again only it'll restart

anyway what i loved about the alpine is the sound quality, esp when playing cds. now if i need to get a replacement HU, what is the best SQ type HU for a budget of about RM300-500?

or within that budget, all SQ is same, just difference in features?
