I noticed my amp's LPF(80 Hz) is on. But I already set the LPF on the HU at 100Hz. Will anything bad happen from this? Or I should just bypass amp's LPF and use the HU's?

Anyone who need advise for audio system can ask anytime !!!

only use one, switch amp one off, use hu one.. nothing bad will happen, but u will be getting 80hz not 100hz from the sub

i saw someone said that installing a separate amp i.e. mono or monoblock to fire subs can allow flexibility when upgrading. is this true?

The JL12W0 (I assume is v3) is SVC 4ohm 300w RMS.

The 4075 bridged is 4ohm 220w slightly underrated. It shouldn't be a problem powering this sub but you won't be maximizing the sub but doesn't really matter. So yes, it'll work.

Running the sub by itself rather than on a multichannel amp just stresses the amp less and those SQ audiophiles will claim that it 'sounds better'. I honestly can't tell the difference but no harm taxing the amp less.

I have 4075, match with Focal Access.

Sound very nice, ngam young man like me. I'm 27 btw.

Very warm sound, so might need to find something matching on the driver side.
