Morel Maximo?.... Guess all those more branded entry level should be ok kua. When are you so humble that you want your comp set to be powered only by HU????

Uh... can you be more specific? Equalizer? If equalizer then it really depends on preference. Some people don't believe in it some people do. But I haven't seen a 3 or 5 band equalizer for about 15 years already. Whatever it is you're using it's old.

Well, easier to define what is "Cheap" for you. Better state your budget then people can recommend. But Ipod + MP3 player is a dime a dozen nowadays. Alpines, Pioneers, JVCs, Kenwoods all have these. Even cheapass China-mari players have these. Question is how good you want it to be? Alpines are the most easily compatible with Ipods. Their Ipod menu control system is (IMHO) the most user friendly compared to other brands.

Need recommendation from ICE sifus of LYN

Which one should I choose to replace my Blaupunk HU in my Persona Elegance, I'm eyeing on these two model

Sony StyleSony Xplode DSX-S300BTX

and AlpineAlpine iDA-X305

and also since I still want to use the control at my Persona's steering wheel, how can I still use that? Any recommendation of ICE shop in PJ or KJ specifically that accept installment for Maybank.

oh ya my budget I hope not more than RM1k and more than RM600

I would suggest Alpine.

But if you want to use back steering control, it will be better if you stick to the same brand. But of course, nowadays those issue can be solve easily with some add on modules.

But I saw the review stated that the Alpine model doesn't have CD player in it whilst the Sony got CD player.

For the add on modules, can you elaborate more? is it a receiver unit or else?

I'm a beginner in ICE just wanted to change the stock set up in my car

Why Alpine no CD player?

With your budget, there are a few nice Alpine CD player within your budget.

As for the add-on module, it is some wiring thingy to connect your player with the steering... So that you can still use your steering control.
