i got a urge to own this tab... but need some info from u guys before i make a move..

by default if i buy the 3g version. its came out with the ver 2.0 froyo version rite ? if i want to upgrade as per samsung website, does it degrade its performance, interm of speed and stuff...
err.. any ideas of the 8" & 10" reaching our shores ? 7" tab sure drop price if they comes..

my unit was oroginal , didnt root b4 and after upgrade to 2.33. i didnt c any improve performance yet.... for me i feel nothing different.

why my gtab apps just install on my 1.6gb memory ? not install on my 32gb built in memory ??
if i want to upgrade to official italy 2.3.3 gingerbread i need to flash the bootloader 1st??

You need to select Move to SD from your applications setting. Some apps can be moved to internal storage, some can't.

i clicked and prayed HARD. luckily, everything seemed to go smoothly. after about 5 minutes, the installation was complete and now i have gingerbread. yay!

first impression, it does seem much smoother than froyo. i like.

p/s: you need to have at least 3GB in your pc for the installation.

i looking forward for digi smartplan coz i dun have broadband/internet connection at home. so this one will be my solely internet connection.

does my need justifies the 'string attached'

if u dont have any internet connection plan, than just go ahead but remember u will stuck with the digi for 2 years.
yes with package u can buy cheap sgt RM1k

if u buy direct from seller. no string attached. of cos the price will be RM1400++

as far as i know most samsung center selling with 1 year warranty, senheng / senq gv 1 more year extra warranty. My tab comes with 2 year samsung warranty as the samsung shop said malaysia at this moment only few branches have such standard.....so when they submit my warranty card, and ask me sms to samsung system, ti did reply my sms said my imei product is 2 years. from may 2011 until may 2013.

Aiya. You have ap set with euro rom- cannot update with kieslah unless you do manual flash to gingerbread or flash to DX Rom change Csc to xme (msia) etc. Then your tab no more virgin.

like that.. im just curios becoz i ask samsung at lowyat they told me 2 years.but mostly i heard 1 year only. how to check that our tab set is ap or ori?got any sticker from sme or wat??

the samsung e warranty ouside of the box is SME set.and the seal should not b broken if it is a new set.

the warranty should start when the seller doing the sms register.
an sms from sme will sent to yr mobile no and will stated from when till when the warranty period.

upgraded to 2.3.3 official, confirm can't be root using soc 1.9.5 and gingerbreak.apk but I feel faster then froyo!

Galaxy tab p1000 owner. Upgraded to Gingerbread Ovecome (very easy.just follow the guide). Compared to ipad (have 2 at home) i prefer the tab more. Not too big, and easy to carry. Trying to fond a good cover to replace the original cover. Any suggestions?
