For 0.3%, it will credited to ur acc in next statement. For weekend cashback, it will be within next or next 2 statement
*

I received 2nd statement, but I don't see my 0.3% cash back (from 1st statement).... hmm.gif
I only see cashback weekend.... but I don't know how it calculate.

And another thing is, 1st statement do not has any charges, but this 2nd statement kena RM50 as service tax for 2014..... shocking.gif

What is "Service Tax"??? Can I waive it?

You Should Tried to Apply (Online) Directly from Bank as to Prevent the Agent Who maybe Manipulate your apps to get Cards which you X want... to getting more Commissions... rolleyes.gif

I believe the CB of the 1st Statement are Credited back to Your Account on/after the Due Date of Your 1st Statement as Sometimes It Shown on the Statement Sometimes did not & the Weekends CB will Credit back within 4-6 Weeks later

ie, My Statement Date: 5th of Month & Due date: 25th
I got a RM1000 of Retail Transaction on the 10th... but I will get 0.3% CB (Last month Purchase) + CB (RM1000 Current Purchase ) = All will Credit back 1 lump sum to My Account after Due Date & As the Coming Soon Next Statement (5th) I X See any CB from RM1000 Purchase because currently It already been Credited to My Account... rolleyes.gif

GST (Government Sales & "Service Tax") Can't Waive by the Bank, it is collected by the government and the banks enforce it on behalf of the government, so Your have to Pay it... nod.gif

As GST is charged once the card is approved and not necessarily activated or not. According to custom department, only those renewed card but cancelled within 3 months & Not Use the NEW card is eligible not to pay GST.

just Swipes Your NEW Card 3x (any amount) They will Credit back RM50 (GST) back to Your Account within 3 Months but just for the 1st Year on the NEW Approved card ONLY

My past experience is the cash back for HSBC are extremely difficult to calculate. Weekday rebate credited after 4-6 weeks. And weekend rebate credited after 2 months. As it is credited very late and at different occasion, we tend to lost count. This is HSBC strategy to make our life difficult as mentioned by Gen-X. I roughly calculate previously, it is accurate. The bank is honest. The CS will tell you "just swipe your card, the remaining left for us, don't crack your head ..etc"

HSBC cash back promo is a hoax!!! Remember the promotion in Q3 this year, whereby every RM50 spent will entitle a cash back based on the last digit approval code? Until now i only get once and still did not get most of the cash back.

I called HSBC and they told me its first come first serve based on the start of the day and if i did not get the sms to answer their question means my transaction is too late for the day? I can understand for transactions made in the late morning or afternoon may be too late... How about online payment to telco company made on 1215am in the morning? I specifically asked the telebanker earlier on the transaction i made and the cut off time what do they mean start of the day is. Don't tell me there are thousands of customers made such transactions in the wee hours of midnight for consecutive days! doh.gif

I asked for the list of winners from HSBC and their transaction time to prove that the customers made the transaction earlier than me and they cannot produce that... Where is the transparency? This shows that the bank do not honor what they stated in the TnC!!! mad.gif

+1 for this. i did participate in this event twice. spend a lot but in the end only join once.siao. wasted so much cash rebate and thought i could win some easy money.
this card doesnt have much benefit except those fixed cash back, cathay pacific ticket, 1.25% outstation charges(normally bank goes higher)
ntg more extra.
