i got a Visa Signature. I didn't actually apply for it, just simply said yes to the tele-marketing fellow. She said it is a better standard than platinum? is that so? I never heard it before. Just know infinite and platinum. However, the card seems to be made from real quality plastic unlike visa platinum.

And from the HSBC webpage, one of the benefits is i can get discount up to 70% for purchasing Cathay Pacific and Dragonair business class ticket. But I cannot find more information on the website? Is it a valid benefit or what? Any one try before?

It is indeed a class higher than Platinum.

It is only valid when you see the promotion link in either Cathay Pacifc or Dragonair website. Do note that Dragonair only flies to Kota Kinabalu while Cathay Pacific to KL and Penang.

Anyway, the last HSBC business class promotion just expired. You need to wait until they come up with a new promotion.

Too bad. I thought it is one of the permanent benefit instead of promotion sad.gif . So disappointing. Can't see much useful of this card. Don't even have the KLIA lounge pass. Even 5X reward points for overseas spending is capped at RM1500/month and only valid for spending on dining and hotel . doh.gif

my annual income increased quite a lot fyi, when i 1st apply the card, my basic is Rm1.8k, then i jump to another company with RM2.5k basic, now i moved to Singapore with salary >$2.6k SGD. imagine that 3k is really less than half of my current salary which makes me quite pissed off.

you can apply to increase the credit limit. HSBC increase my classic visa to gold as well but the credit limit remains the same

Tell them to send the card to a HSBC branch near where you live or your workplace.

Same here I just hate HSBC without any solid reason. Since I am still a kid, HSBC gives me the impression of an arrogant bank, where they require at least RM 500 or RM 1000 (can't remember) to open a saving account back in the late 80's (in addition this particular HSBC branch also located in a small town).
