just receive a call from this number (0192772030) claiming to be from takaful. according to them HSBC submitted my name to them because i do not have cpp yet and if i do not agree to take their plan, they will cancel my card

yea i just told them "if u wan cancel, then u cancel the card la"

just went to HSBC roadshow yesterday at MV.

they told me i can apply for HSBC Amanah Platinum Card. When i ask about the charges, they told me is 12 swipe/year to waive the annual fees. they will also give me rm50 rebate as a "waiver" for 1st year GST. Is there any other charges that i need to pay for using this card? when i check the website i found there is monthly management charges.

anyone know what is this monthly management charges? it is quite expensive (rm2.7k monthly)

you can apply to increase the credit limit. HSBC increase my classic visa to gold as well but the credit limit remains the same

just got my hsbc amanah M platinum

the 6% cash back promotion is only till this year?

yeap i noticed that. was planning for 3% cash back (rm200-rm3k) guess i will use it till end of this year then cancel it
or maybe use that card for 1 year to apply for another card

btw, can i combine my HSBC VISA credit limit with HSBC AMANAH VISA credit limit?

weird. i got my card on the day i got the sms. they send via poslaju. collected it from post office the next day. maybe u can call their call center and ask about the status of ur card? if wan faster, ask them to send to HSBC branch nearest to u and u go collect it urself

just noticed that HSBC charged me additional rm4X.XX for nothing
there is some complications in my statements due to the ezpayment

but when i calculate all the bills 1 by 1, my statement balance is RM4X.XX more than what i calculated. the ezpayment is 12months 0% interest. even in the receipt the amount it shows is 0% interest

anyone faced this problem b4? no late charges as well. i had add the RM50 GST also

HSBC Amanah quite desperate for new CC user? i c they still use the 6% CB Plat card to entice ppl (which expire 31-12-2011). when i ask them back "this offer not expire already? still got?" they tell me "the CB % pending for upgrade"

i find HSBC amanah quite stingy with their CL.
Both my Gold HSBC and Amex got higher CL than my Plat HSBC Amanah. and i apply my AMEX before all the increment
so they still based on my old salary for the AMEX

how much is the CB rate for Amanah M-power platinum now? i check in their website its still 3% for petrol and groceries

1 more thing to consider is HSBC M-Power is consider Islamic card. Therefore some non-halal shop in MY might not accept it.
this is what i heard from my colleague who faced this issue before. But as for me, no problem so far. i even use it to pay for non-halal food before

yes its possible. call the HSBC credit card center. i told them i want to cancel my CC application as the agent doesnt honor his word.

i also faced the same problem.

agent promised me can know the application status on Friday (i applied on Wed) and get my card the next week

i checked on my status on Fri and its even in the system yet. called the agent and he promised me i can know the status on Monday. till now, still not in the system yet. he prolly save the application to apply next month (this month hit quota bullcrap)

btw, my agent name is Shuan Tan. Met him on Mid Valley roadshow (opposite G2000). is it the same agent?

do u know any channel where i can voice my complaint?

normally branch will just ask us to call Credit Card Center. since the agent is local and the CC center is overseas, its hard for them to take any action against the agent

thinking of getting HSBC Visa Plat to replace my OCBC Titanium as secondary card
