I've only tried them from some local bulk producer here in Australia. I've got no idea on comparisons with branded brands.
But I've done a maltodextrin + dextrose 50/50 mix. This made my protein shake really tasty and sweet. Really sweet but oh so good. I've got a sweet tooth.

Waxy maize starch makes the shake a little more floury. No sweet taste at all.
I prefer the dextrose mix though.

Right now I'm on superfine oats as my carb mix.. But I don't think that's considered as simple carbs right?

You get the advantage of having 3 kinds of protein namely whey, casein and egg.

Yeah but you have to buy 3 tubs if you wanna get all,a blend already have all 3 in 1 thus saving a lot more.

If you guys dunno the difference between those 3 just read up on it.

i know the different dude

for slow digestion i prefer natural food like chicken breast or egg, i taking whey(fast digest) with natural(slow digest) so hoping the amino flow consistently in my blood to prevent catabolic.

and i take vitamin, so i got no issues with vitamin provided in blend because my whey also got essential vits plus my own vits.

natural food works more wonder for me, thats why we called a tub of protein is a supplement not meal replacement

When did I call it a meal replacement?

I also use MRP's btw.

Good for you that you can have solid foods at your leisure, wish I could do the same but with a 5K daily intake and a hectic schedule I can't.

I found the cheapest glucolin, Rm9 for a bottle, last about a week (5 days split). so 1 month = RM36 only.

I have 2 question here and i hope someone could've help. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to go for muscle building and gain weight. So according to the protein intake i want to achieve 70 kg so its 70*0.4535924=31.51g of protein per day?

Also, should i take weight gainer or just whey protein as supplement with proper meals? I heard whey protein is used to cut down weight? Confusing now....

Thanks bros.

Who told u about the calculation? 30g is just my one meal. Ur body needs at least 1g of protein to per lbs of ur bodyweight. e.g. 180lbs = 180g of protein daily.
