QUOTE(statikinetic @ Apr 17 2011, 11:38 PM) You'll get used to it. After that, there's no turnin' back. yea man. real big difference from the ON whey. nowadays i still can wait a while more until i take a PWO meal. last time with ON even with double servings i still need to eat almost immediately afterwardsAdded on April 17, 2011, 11:41 pm Some sellers on LYN stock it, as well as Egonutritions in certain shopping malls. |

whey is whey. no different than any other brands. if you're buying muscletech for the 'propriety blend' then by all means, go ahead.

QUOTE(free_enuf @ May 17 2011, 05:19 PM) I beg to differ, not all whey are created equally. Disregarding additional ingredients they put in, some brands stood out among other. Having said that Nitrotech is all bout hype and marketing. oh, really? mind explaining? im not being sarcastic or anything, mind you, i would like to know if you're willing to share.oh, and heard from my friend that nitrotech hardcore now comes in 4.8lbs with the same price. not sure if its true or not. |

QUOTE(free_enuf @ May 17 2011, 07:31 PM) Not sure bout the 4.8lbs packaging but if price is concerned it is quite competitive compared to other brands on certain website store. I think its not the price that I m against, its just that NT is simply not the best whey. well, in the end, the main ingredient is still whey isnt it? regardless of digestive enzymes etc etc. personally for me i still think price is the main factor for me choosing any particular brand. but then again, i am not the type that would blame the protein shake if i dont make decent progress. its -still- a supplement for me, after all. Btw back to whey, many variances of preparation and the percentage of them in any brands makes difference in the rate they are digested and absorbed, eg being hydrolyzed to smaller chains of peptide or not, does make a big difference in absorption during the PWO window. Addition of digestive enzymes in certain brands is another advantage in this sense. Imagine lactase in ON's for the lactose-intolerant, its one hella savior. Easiest way, will you think Holley's whey is equivalent to Nutrex's, gram to gram? Added on May 17, 2011, 7:42 pm By hydro if you are referring to hydrolyzed whey, no they are not pricey. ON's 100% whey is partially hydrolyzed, and its the one of the cheapest whey out there. I do think ON's product esp its 100% whey are value for money. You can easily get 10lb-er for RM295 shipped. ON has the platinum series, if i remember the name correctly, which is more expensive than your regular whey. thats the hydrolyzed whey.. |

creatine is dehydrating because its pulling water to the muscles and causing the body to retain more water.

QUOTE(speedoom @ May 26 2011, 11:33 AM) pre-workout is a must have for me! this is the thing i want to avoid. dependency on supps for working out. im not against it, mind you. alot of my friends do take PWO supps but it just goes against my graini mix jack3d and superpump max need the stim from jack3d and the real pre-wo from superpump |

QUOTE(mcbarney666 @ May 27 2011, 10:35 AM) I had been taking NO for the 6 weeks and I can tell you that my training sessions were through the roof. Then, when my tub of GAT Jetfuse ran out, I trained without taking anything at all, just a cup of coffee 30 minutes earlier, and the difference was quite apparent. First few sets of lat pulldowns were all right. But, after about 30 minutes into the training, I noticed my stamina and soon after my concentration started to decline a bit. Strength was all right, honestly, but I couldn't go the distance when compared on the NO. Poundages dropped by about 10 - 15% but I compensated with more reps. However, I never once thought, hey, I need the NO. I just kept at it and trained my ass off using own mental and physical strengths. hey thanks for the reply man. imo i think i'll hold off the pre supps for the mo. im making progress right now so i dont see a reason why i shouldAnother long-winded story, I know, but I was in the mood. |

QUOTE(swks26 @ May 30 2011, 06:28 PM) Comparing jack3d (Yeah that was my account lol) with : yea it would be weird if the lead singer of muse posted here. BSN NO Xplode + More endurance + Does not give me mood swings + Does not knock me out after gym + Has that fizzy taste - Fruit punch flavour taste like F&N Raspberry (not to my liking) - Scoops are huge if compared to jack3d (if wanna down, gotta chug it down more) - Not much pump as compared to jack3d - Jack3d is definitely much more stronger than NO Explode - Stirred it with a chopstick, somehow gave a foamy layer |

QUOTE(soundworks @ Jun 4 2011, 05:42 PM) Yea how about herbalife ?? They sell soy and whey protein powder ! Can it be used for post workout since it's whey ? It suggests that we take 2 scoops which is a total of 10g of protein . Can mix with on or myo together? try comparing the protein content to any other whey protein brands out there. compare the price too. |

just got this today, nutrabolics isobolic whey protein:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/nbol/isobolic.html http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2673271 review - tastes great, comparable with myofusion if not nicer - mixes very very well, no clumps at all and i didnt even shake it that hard. - quite thick, though not as thick as myofusion, but definitely thicker than ON Whey - Doesnt have the very sweet taste of myofusion, which is a plus point for me - not very filling, already hungry and its not even an hour after i had the shake - slightly more expensive than both myofusion and ON whey (RM 200) This post has been edited by mikehuan: Jun 8 2011, 10:59 PM |
