Don't know if it's just me but I have made an observation on another matter.
By right I remember that IPTV has some sort of its own reserved bandwidth for watching the channels right? However when my IPTV is on and watching a channel, my Internet/PC's bandwidth will drop. Before IPTV is on, my PC can hit my usual max speed around 4.7-4.8mbps for both download and upload (VIP5). Once IPTV is on, my download speed becomes about 3.5-3.8mbps while upload still hits top speed. Anyone can do a similar observation and tell me your outcome? |

QUOTE(JinXXX @ May 23 2011, 09:08 AM) usually those devices is design/made in oversea.. they are not designed for use in places with hot weather like malaysia... it's make from glass.... i got a few fiber optic left from the installation and try to burn it, and the fiber only glow(red color) not melt or catch on fire.... proof it's make from glassi doubt its glass, as glass based fibers are very expensive, more like its the modern plastic alternative... yeah once break habis cannot pakai at all already.. becomes worthless QUOTE(OKLY @ May 23 2011, 07:16 PM) Don't know if it's just me but I have made an observation on another matter. so far it ok for me... no drop or what so ever.... QUOTE(fjoru103 @ May 23 2011, 02:49 PM) Having a chat with the person installing the unifi earlier this day.He said at the moment, both white zte and black huawei is working well. Only the first batch white huawei is giving problems. TM already returned all the white one to the supplier and switch with the black one. |

QUOTE(-ZeN- @ May 19 2011, 03:57 PM) would really prefer the BTU -> fortigate Hi Zen,cause i does see an option "Type" as VLAN. Then there's also a pppoe dial that currently dialing the streamyx. Maybe i should give it a try to just dial Unifi. IF not only need to try getting microtik. Thanks for those info. by the way, does any shop in lowyat selling microtik? Give a try with this, fortigate does support VLAN nicely. Here is the configuration guide based on Fortiwifi v4.3: http://www.mediafire.com/?u5dv1ru7jrqwaqn My Fortiwifi sample config: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m942z8lojko8tc7 Good luck. |
