Ya... I'm the photographer in my friend's wedding... Maybe softbox is easier to use & easier to get even flash for a beginner like me... So might plan to find a good one for assurance... Btw... I know 1 person which can shoot very good event photo with event lightning ambience using a softbox oso... But not close to him... So can't reali ask for tunjuk ajar from him...

Oh this type ar LOL. That good or not? I rather use it bare lor... too much powerloss, even my SB900 I think also overheat fast -.-

if i was going to use one, i would save up and get something better like some of the lumiquest ones - eg. http://www.lumiquest.com/products/softbox-iii.htm

those cheap ones might work, but u have to see the effect for urself and see if it wont be any better than just using the diffuser that comes with ur flash.

That Lastolite is for on camera?

Str33tBoY - i don't know what flash you're using but you're thinking too much. if it's an SB900 then as it is, is more than ready to use for weddings.

softbox is not a good idea - you must understand how diffusers work, softbox diffuses but it's also directional.

underexpose abit?

it's not a matter of lastolite or not, i have a few softboxes that can be used on camera but like i said - it's directional.

for events, i find that you're better off using white bounce card / stofen / lambency / demb flip-it and the likes.

This kind of shot, better for you to overexpose it rather than underexp it! Coz it looks sooo dull, some increment in the exposure and tweak at the saturation, should b good to go
