SSY22 , D7000 would be a great choice , if u have DX lens now. If not , go straight for the D700 or wait for the D800. That time will have alot of ppl selling off their D700

- Aperture diff
-35 f1.8 got CA issue
-35 f2 got barrel distortion
-35mm f2 is lighter
- 35 1.8 for DX - 35 f2 - for DX and FX

35mm f/1.4G is a FX lens ... any DX or FX lens mounted on a DX body will have a 1.5x crop factor la ...

There r a lot of beginner out there who juz bought their dslr n want to try their 1st prime, but u keep on condemn 35 1.8G,say it sucks n IQ rubbish, n say only use gold ring lens... the most sarcastic photog i met, ppl using D3s oso keep quiet oni....

My personal opinion.
Take it or leave it. I feel it sucks because it can't do what I want ma.
