You need to put 1 lump sum 5k or 6k then only can get the goodies beg & umbrella.

Btw, I notice the sspn-i plus can get 12k deduct for income tax. But is 6k for sspn and 6k for KWSP/takaful. Normally our KWSP already exceeded the 6k amount, means can claim for sspn only?

Yeah I always lump sum 6k. But goodie bags not that attractive IMO. Anyone gotten this year's goodies?

And the SSPN-I Plus not worth it (in terms of income tax deduction) due to EPF. Won't be able to claim extra.

Last time used to be able to, years back, but they close that loophole di. Now cannot. Check the above reply and see if allowed by maybank, I'm pretty sure is not.

and if you (desperately) wish to get the goodies (umbrella and bag) but don't feel like bringing cash to PTPTN branch (and debit card is limiting max of only 5k transition), you can do online bank-in, bring the receipt to the branch and claim the goodies. brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

Hi all,
Just came across this thread reading the sspn-i tax relief benefit... i do not have an account yet, i read in the website it takes ‘less than 14 days’ to open new account. So there is no way i can make it within the next few days for qualifying tax relief for year 2017 ? Thanks
