You use which card for petrol?

My primary card is Maybank Ikhwan Mastercard - 5% on Fridays and Saturdays

If desperate, I'll try to pump on Sundays with UOB ONE - 5% on weekends & 2% of weekdays with rebate capped based on card level

My last resort is CIMB Mastercard Cash Rebate - 2% on any day

need new card for my waifu travel and grocer
old HLB wise not wise already.

problem is for petrol. only have shell on the vicinity /en route to work ( jelutong-SP )
petronas need to go bayan baru , greenlane ( which jam-packed road )

Get those cards which is not restricted to certain terminals like WISE or brands.

Maybank Ikhwan Mastercard is the best if you can plan to refill on Fridays or Saturdays.
Otherwise, Citibank Cash Back card also good with rebate capped based on card level regardless of days.
Next is, UOB ONE which is also capped on its rebate based on card level and restricted to weekends only.

may i know whats the cap for citibank and oub?

petrol around 500 per month. ( 150km per day / 11-13 liter per day )
TnGo ( cant topup with CCard nowadays rite ? )
others is grocery around 500+ per month
bills 400+ also
( does ikhwan can get benefit from these too ? )

Why don't consider for Maybank Ikhwan Visa 8% ??

RM 15 for normal, RM 30 for gold/platinum

This Ikhwan Visa card is tied to Petronas IIRC.

I think this method can work provided we choose islamic carz which the interest is not compounded but must read the fine print properly .

Equivalent of RM 300 and RM 600 of petrol spending under 5℅.

what do u mean by restricted by card level? So it is not strsight forward get 5% for UOB?

Classic/Normal level ---> RM 15 rebate cap
Gold/Platinum level ---> RM 30 rebate cap

Anybody used Maybank Islamic PETRONAS Ikhwan Visa to reload their Petronas Gift Card on weekends for 8% cashback ?

I studying which cc have best benefit.. So far mbb ikwan have 5 percent Friday Saturday.. Without annual fees..
Uob one seems good 5percent weekend and 2percent bonus for bhp, but have annual fees...

Any of u couldnt use cc for fuel transaction today?? I tried 3 gas station. My card doesnt work. Last gas station was offline. So i dont know either it is my card or the machine problem

Yes it's bad today. Used my visa for KLIA transit kiosk but rejected a few times

Just fill up full tank at Petronas klang batu 3 lama with mbb ikhwan visa. Machine ask for pin I keyed in waited 3 sec then screen appeared approved no issue.

yesterday CC system down at all petrol stations. tried petron, petronas, shell all faced the same problem. the staff at petronas said everytime there's rush to pump petrol due to price hike, will cause system to be down.
