I just use the mesra points for petrols.

I use Bonuslink when I have no choice but to go to Shell, but I don't know how the points are awarded. Anyone care to explain in detail about the returns we get from Bonus Link.

can AMEX used in Petronas? Coz I found some website saying yes.some say no..so i m confusing. Any 1 can confirm this?

so amex cant be use it as widely as visa n mastercard .

First time going to Shell and tried paying using CC with bonuslink card with these steps:

1. Insert bonuslink card at the slot. Green indicator light appears.
2. Remove bonuslink card when the indicator light dissappers.
3. Insert CC and card will be processed and then remove Cc.
4. Start pumping and collect receipt thereafter.

Q1. Is this the correct way so that my bonuslink card is read properly ie. able to get the points?
Q2. Is it possible to key in how much in RM that I wanna pump? I tried pressing the numeric keys after Step 3, but nothing is displayed on the screen.

No station attendant on site, thus unable to seek assistance. Anyone can help? Thanks

I also plan to use the cc in Shell, but I do not have a bonuslink card. Is it necessary that the first step must always be the bonuslink card? If it's just the credit card, should be fine, I guess?

As Human Nature puts it, I would also like to know if we can preset the amount of petrol that I want to pump.u

I use my CC at the terminal but I still got to go counter and get the free bottled water at Esso stations

I have some remark for Melaka Esso/Mobil,

Most of the Stations in Melaka town are not ready for Outside Card Machine, mean also cannot use Amex.

Mostly I use only 2 Stations, 1st is Near Melaka Mall & 2nd will be near Melaka Sental.

Others not discover yet.

PBB Now is offering again 8% for 4 months.. very fake la they all... Esso also..Really "Smart", where "WE ARE DRIVERS too, we know you wanna MORE rebates on top of our luxurious 1.5% Rebates >.<"

You can redeem it at the pump for petrol but i never try it. Usually I redeem at the counter, once for RM4.xx fuel as i wanna finish off the points..no problem
