just an update, my vista rc2 is reporting a higher WEI compared to my vista rc1 by 0.2. i wonder why...
also, i did note that in pre-rc1, the ie7 is IE7+ while now in RC2 it's IE7 only. it was promised by microsoft that only vista gets the IE7+. wonder was it a mistake or was it on purpose??

QUOTE(xeno @ Oct 9 2006, 04:22 PM) I don't know the way you use the internet. For me, I do not find any problem with windows firewall although I am quite aggresive in entering potentially dangerous website. QUOTE(ticke @ Oct 9 2006, 04:51 PM) beg to differ...you can just copy to your hdd n install. simple as that my lappie also using integrated vga. got 3.2 how old is your laptop? my desktop got 0.1 score lower than my laptop....coz of the memory. using 512 on desktop. My graphics is Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for Mobile, 855GM chipset. The laptop is slightly more than 1 year old.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Oct 19 2006, 03:05 PM) hey vista 64bit and 32 bit got what difference? and all the drivers must be vista driver ah? the difference is 64 and 32 bit lorr...also, for 64-bit, the driver needs to be signed iirc. when i install vista on my rig, the only driver that i need to provide is the sound card driver. the rest is recognised by vista.

recognise means you no need to provide driver after you install vista...vista will automatically installt he driver for you...
driver needs to be signed means must be certified driver lorr...if you buy those hardware like external casing where made in taiwan ones, the driver they provide not certified one mah...can be use in 32 bit but i don't think can be use in 64 bit...iirc...

hmm, you burn it in the CD as an ISO or you burn the content of the ISO? you need to do the latter.

you can do both actually. I had no prob running the dvd using both method.
burn the ISO as in burn image file (can't remember the term) onto the DVD not as data on DVD....burn the contents of the ISO (after you extract using iso softwares) as data is also possible.
