Regardless.  When i called and checked with CS, CS gave me the wrong information, which i relied upon, then it is truly their fault.  Further, if the brochure was only intended to be for the Amex, by putting the advertisement of Duo card at the end of the brochure is misleading.

what is the statement balance or amount due? Outstanding Balance may not be the amount due as the transactions may been done after the Statement Date.

I been reading this thread and found to be very interesting...but make me confuse somehow...

btw I have Maybank Petronas Visa Platinum...and I used it for most of my daily transaction..nearly for everything...groceries, cloth and insurance...sometime oversea but most of time inside M'sia...

I filling up petrol at petronas and shell only...

Just ask u guys opinion...is that worth it for me to apply Maybank 2 card?..and surrender my Maybank petronas card?

its not worth it if most of the places you go to do not accept amex.

Maybank 2 visa only give 1 TP/RM

Better use OCBC Titanium. You can get 5% rebate. You can't tell when AMEX is going to pay your bills. Only payments made on the weekend get 5% rebate.

that's not for labodega. it is for Amex card ONLY. they are doing so to compensate my loss due to their misrepresentation. funny tho, they asked me to check with them again as regards any promotion, if i am confused, lol.

Question about application :

For other banks' credit cardholders to apply, still need to give all the documents eg. income tax, salary, etc.?

Thought just need to give ic or credit card photocopy enough.

Normally, for those who hold a cc more than 1 year, just submitting photocotpt of the cc is suffice. there are occassions where the bank would stil require for other income documents. it is their discreation.

I was asked by OCBC for the income documents. I submitted it when I applied to DUO card, as i wanted the approval asap and i did not want my application to be rejected.

Why would you waste RM2 to pay MBB via this method ? You can always pay for FREE using M2U monthly.
Unless you pay RM2 to avoid forgetfulness.

Just checked with Maybank, luckily don't have RM2 monthly charge for standing instruction, unless you are using other bank. rclxms.gif
