i din know we can pay water bill at DBKL's offices.

emailed my application i think on 11.5 if not 12.5, got it recorded in the system on 12.5, chased everyday for approval and finally rec a sms ard 6 saying it has been approved. 4-5 days, i would say quite fast.

how long wil it take to reach the selected branch?

Added on May 17, 2011, 10:43 amjz checked today at m2u, the card details have been listed there. got Visa plat, although initially, was offered Master and asked to convert, which they did. quite disappointingly, the CL was as low as other cards, unlike my DA, which has a slightly higher CL. Sigh

but CIMB's visa plat minimum yearly salary is RM100k

but by holding an affinity card, it is not qualified for the buy1free1 movie ticket promotion.

collected my card at the branch. No problem at all, although I asked for a change from master to visa. No problem with the delivery although I requested for it to be directed to the branch and not sent by post (although the CS still confused as to the type of card and the delivery of the card, after I collected the card. apparently they have different 'systems', lol)

All my hardworks in calling the CS in ensuring things went well have been paid off.

oh i tot that is only applicable to visa signature. din know it applies to visa plat too. now going to apply another one lah, cz have to pay rm50 ler.. too many card already.

like today, my card arrived. noone called me. luckily the branch is near to my office, i jz walked there based on the assumption that it was there already.

btw, jz tried to purchase staff online. was asked to create a password for internet transaction. wondering do they have the 3D secure like what we have for OCBC and send out the TAC as that is safer in that regard.

I think the TAC thingy is more reliable as someone may have been able to obtain all the required info.

has anyone used their car via UOB online to make payment? I used MBB visa but got rejected.

for those who may not know, we can actually pay our bill using our CC via M2U. Tried Visa and it was successful. Not Amex tho. Was rather excited with this "new" thingy, hehe.

this i do not know as I know payonline doesnt allow a non UOB card holder to make payment.

btw has any1 encountered problem using MBB American Express Card? Went for Labodega last night for dinner, according to the promotion, I was supposed to have been able to enjoy 50% discount. I was denied it. Simply, that the MBB AE card that I am holding is not the original American Express Card,

faint showed the assistant manager the brochure but to no avail. Looked like a stupid fool yday, and ended up calling the CS to complain, who wil revert by today.

I will let u know once i found out the full details. Had a detailed read at the American Express webside realise that a lot of good promotion is only valid for AE card, not MBB 2 Card. Faint. Seems lik safer to use the card for 5% rebate and 5x points, rather than the promotions. otherwise, we may look lik a stupid fool.

I heard about it. But when I used MBB Visa Plat, the transaction was rejected.

if that is the case, the Amex card really lost its shine. only got for 5x and 5%.

hi, when do we normally receive the brochures/booklets etc for the carD? i havent receive them leh...

I tot booklet, which has the info abt the card etc, wil be sent when we receive our new card?

online information is so confusing
some doesnt even apply to MBB Plat Amex
wanting a booklet so that i can show it to the merchant who refuses to allow me to enjoy the benefit
