Maybe ask your agent what documents still required.

After calling 1300885000 and follow MYstombox instruction, it told me the application is pending for some documents...hmm.gif i already submitted all the required one though.

I am in the same situation as yours. I have submitted all the required documents as requested by my agent but checked on Monday, it was pending for additional documents thus I spoke to the Customer Service personnel to find out what additional documents are required, guess sometimes they might need extra documents to verify.

Submitted documents at Monday night via email to cap@ocbc.com (as advised by CS) and now status is approved.

I wonder why OCBC is going on a campaign to sign up Titanium cards when their approval process is so stringent. Isn't it kind of defeating the purpose of doing it? By the way, my application in Feb was unsuccessful despite meeting all the requirements. Planning to reapply in 2 months time yawn.gif

I applied online. I asked the CS agent why my application was rejected but he couldn't give a reason. Then I asked about appealing but he told me to reapply after 3 months instead. I was thinking it might be because I was still new into the workforce when i applied (4 months) despite meeting the income requirement.

The additional documents required for me are Utility bill and bank account statement, yours might be different as mine.

I hate when they asked for utility bill. I usually put my hometown address as the mailing address instead of my current renting house.

it is easy to get RM50 rebate, the difficult part is to spend the exact amount to get RM50. Any over spending get ZERO rebate.

The easiest way I have been doing is to call up OCBC (when to call is depending on your statement date and your spending) and check 5% and 1% rebate I have gained, from that I will get to know what I need to spend so that will not end up zero rebate.
*
Ohh...tht is 1good way nod.gif , thanks for the tips...Btw, I never thought there is zero rebate, because what I understand is if it is not under the 5% rebate category then all will go under 1% rebate...no?

Is this your first credit card? usually there is only a few reasons for not successful:
1) Your yearly wages is below the limit (which in your case i think u should be ok)
2) first time credit card application
3) have a bad payment record or too much debt on other cards
4) etc

Tell you my experience. I applied online... someone entertain me via email. Submit everything but no news after 1 month. Go to Curve, saw the OCBC booth, a beautiful lady helped me to fill up all the form, and guess what, approved and I actually received my card in the fifth next working day. If you want I can PM you the tel number.

a note for all spenders in the curve for the 20% dining.

the rebate will only be awarded in the next statement, not on the same statement with the dining spending bill. I just called CS to confirm on this and that's what he told me.

i'm 1 and 2 when i was applying for that card last year. the reason i can say for the current situation is that their business getting better as many ppl realise the benefit of this card and hence they are lowering the approve rate or having stricter filtering.
