Any idea how much Maybank charged for the transaction? RM2?
*
Depends on your account type. Standard is RM 2.

oh shoot...just got back from midval but didn go to IT fair n just read ur reply now..haaaaaah...missed Titanium..anywy, now still can apply with 1yr old CC with other bank??
*
I don't think that is even possible now with OCBC.

That day, they asked me to provide 3-months payslip, recent EPF statement and latest bank statement whereby salary is being banked in to.

That's weird. I asked one of them in IT Fair on Friday and I was told that all I need to provide is a photocopy of my IC (which can be done at the booth) and a month salary slip.  hmm.gif
*
Those in the fair are CC agents.

Mine was bank staff.

I have also applied for the Titanium card, so far no respone. sad.gif
OCBC Bank is one of the strictest bank to apply the CC based on my experience, even ask for EPF statement.

It is the 5% rebate that attract so many people to apply for it.
*
Actually, Citibank asked for my EPF statement during my 2nd assessment.

I just gave them my 2 month salary slip(my first card) and they reject and i appeal(CS appeal on behalf of me) 2 times more and got it approved in 2 months >.< long procedures. hardest card for me is OCBC.
OCBC u need to write a nice letter for them to read. I don't even know if they read it or not lol!
*
Such a messy process to go through. If I were, I'll leave it aside. Don't ever call me back later. brows.gif

Man, I didn't know OCBC is getting stricter on new applications. sad.gif

Actually does anyone know what's the reason one's application gets rejected despite fulfilling their requirements? unsure.gif

I fulfill the income requirements, I have Maybankard2Gold and CIMB DA now, never pay late for my CC bills.

I have installment plan on my CIMB DA which will end next month and of course I have PTPTN loan.

No car, no house yet... Aargh, it will disappoint me if I get rejected by OCBC. I was planning to apply next month after my installment plan with CIMB DA ends. If I get it, I will cancel my CIMB DA which brings no value to me. laugh.gif
*
What do you expect from Asian strongest bank! I won't even get surprised. Perhaps you can higher chance if you unload CIMB DA from your CCRIS/CTOS. biggrin.gif

If i am not mistaken, PTPTN loan does not appear in CCRIS.
You not yet submit and already start worrying  doh.gif
Just do it! A very flexible card..
*
You're correct. PTPTN won't appear in CCRIS/CTOS.

i am about to apply OCBC Titanium tomorrow at HQ Masjid Jamek. Any documents i need to bring?
*
As usual, 3-months payslip, bank statement showing monthly salary is being credited into and/or EPF/EA statement.

Of course, copy of your NRIC and existing CC if you have any.

I just registered mine at The Curve and the agent only ask for 1 month payslip ... hmm.gif
*
Doesn't really matter. If they feel that it's not enough, they'll ask you to fax or email them.

3-month payslip is rather standard in any loan related application including CC.

For dining, if it's classified as cafe merchant code, you'll only be getting 1% rebate. Starbucks and Coffee Bean will not be getting 5% rebate.

The merchant using restaurant merchant code will be entitled for 5% rebate.

This is what the OCBC bank staff told me that day.

not waived, but you get spending bonus of RM50 when you spent RM10,000 in the statement year.
*
If spend less than RM 10k, will the amount of "bonus" is pro-rated?
