Well, I'm not sure what is the selection criteria.
I fulfill the income criteria and have been a good paymaster, yet I got rejected.
Now in appeal case... My agent is helping me, even he has no answers for me.

Same to here sis. Anyway my agent (from OCBC Staff) told me the application is at the final stage now. Was appealed and submitted my sample of mailing address with my name tagged on it to prove my mailing address. Pray hard to get it now. Will ring to CS anytime to confirm my status of application.

You guys might wanna consider MilesAndMore's tip up there. No point having very high credit limit for this card and this might just help you in your rating.

When I applied, I specified that I only want a credit limit of 5K and not more than that. They gave me 5K exactly.

Based on my experience, if request low credit limit like 5k, 8k, the chance to get this card will b more higher since ocbc now is kedekut with credit limit...they gv a very low credit limit...

The agent didn't tell me about this. Some more tell me I can get higher CL compared to my CIMB and Maybank. shakehead.gif
Either I call him tomorrow that I could tolerate with lower CL or just wait till this first round of appeal has an update for me.

if it's correct, CL for those below 36k PA = max 2* salary instead of 3*, and have a limit up to Two cards in total from any banks.. *even same bank max 2 types of card*

as my OCBC is having only 5k... despite i asked to reduce up to 2k.. but still it's ok la since sometimes purchase stuffs that require visa.. and very big amounts... +_+"

For salary above 36k no control... biggrin.gif
