Just tried to pay my credit card just now through cash deposit machine. It failed. While everyone that is using the machine to cash deposit to saving account is fine. Can't find anyone that is paying credit card. I tried both machine and it failed.

Ask the guard whether anyone mention this and guard say no one complain yet. He help me to call the branch personnel directly using his handphone. Really appreciate the gesture!

The staff say perhaps its the line problem between the branch and headquarters and advise me to call the customer service.

Called customer service and she said the credit card payment system got problem today. For that, they'll extent the last payment date by 3 days.

I don't have the card but just curious, why can't you pay online? Just RM2 for interbank xfer via MEPS. Save time and petrol, worth more than RM2 unless you stay close to OCBC branch.

haha dont get me wrong, I would save the RM2 if I could but just not worth the effort (like travel, petrol, find a car park, parking ticket, kena summon if didn't put parking ticket, "machine temporary out of order" and what not).
Why so few OCBC branches in Klang Valley, even Citibank got more now?

I also pay my OCBC via my Maybank2U BSA account. RM 0.50. I rather pay for convenience.

Yes, I got same problem.

I am facing so many after system upgrade

1. Can't do bill payment - this only solved 28/3

2. Can't pay my credit card - I got OCBC joint saving account. Before system upgrade. I can pay via internet banking. After upgrading, My internet banking have no "payment by Account" option anymore. After call CS so many time, they finally told me it is because our ATM only has my husband name, so I can't do my payment by saving account anymore.

3. OK, I accepted their explanation, then I try to login my husband internet banking, and Choose pay to third party credit card, transaction failed also.

4. Finally I have no choice, pay by using cash deposit machine, and failed again.

Already wrote a long long email to complaint, no reply yet.

hahaha....well, i guess this habit starts from way back to my college time.
that time, i rather walk farther to get to the atm of my bank instead of paying rm1 for MEPS. it's always been this way.
even though now i'm earning three fold of my initial salary, it just feel it's not worth to pay for it.

it depends on individual preference, i always been told by my sis, to do ebanking...spending rm1 or 2 to get insurance from getting expose to risk when transferring physically...she has her point...which i do agree as well, but well, that's just something i used to...

the ocbc branch is very near to the gym that my gf goes, and it's near our houses, so basically it's not troublesome for us to go there. my gf also using ocbc titanium card. right beside it, there's maybank branch, where we get our salary from, so...not troublesome for us smile.gif

My thought exactly... Paying RM1/RM2 is way too high for something so trivial. Some have 1 transaction only... I have many transactions a month. So I opened OCBC iQ Basic to perform 5 FREE IBG a month.

That's why the Gen-Z are getting "lazy" and never find out the most efficient manner to conduct a banking transaction.

7 days a week depends on the Merchant Category Code (MCC)... Please refer to 1st page for details.
