This can be solve by reflash firmware using odin. I face this problem b4 when I flash my phone halfway i disconnect phone.

for Angry Birds, I use AngryBirdsBackup app to backup the save game. I successfully transferred it from default eclair to froyo 2.3extreme dashblack.
for SMS I user SMS Backup & Restore app. for Contacts I use cloud Google Contacts. for other apps like papago and other games I just search for those app folders in memory card.

hi... i've just upgraded my phone to madteam latest version (2.3.3) izit? in any chance how i do i control the permission if i would to download apps from 4shared... scared google come knocking my door and get sued...

Using Cyanogen 7.1 v0.5 : Awesome. DSP more tweaks and settings... audio amazing...wifi...bluetooth...GPS..all working well ...fast and smooth...

Also flashing to V.05.. My phone sometimes restart when receive call. How about yours?

i see the thread about g5 on this forum,but some link cannot open..i install game on my phone after updates..but cannot move to sdcard,i also dun understand about root,partition..

u need to install universal root app from market. but if i'm not wrong, it's pre installed when u flashed to v2.09. use that to root your phone.

as for the partition of yours sdcard, use mini tool partition wizard, download here : http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

Guide for partition :

1) partition your sdcard as EXT4 (size about 0.5 GB - 1.0 GB will do - depends on your need) and must be PRIMARY.

2) as for swap it's optional. but if you want swap partition, size about 50-100MB will be enough.

3) after you have completed partition your sdcard, format it with your computer.

4) then insert it back to your phone.

5) use your phone terminal emulator, type "su" and then "app2sd on" to enable app2sd.

6) reboot your phone.

7) done

NOTE : BACKUP YOUR APPS AND FILES FIRST BEFORE YOU FORMAT YOUR SDCARD AS EVERYTHING IN IT WILL BE WIPED OUT WHEN YOU FORMAT IT!

These builds will only be released after being tested to work, but there is no guarantee that all functionality will be available compared to the stable version. <secret project> is using clockwork mod (cwm) to install rom. just installed v0.7 using cwm. still testing ...but i think so far it's really awesome! will keep you guys update and feedback.

Guide :

1) download :

a) CWM file http://www.madteam.co/forum/development/%2...cret-projectgt/ (you need this for CWM to work on G5, as Rom Manager doesn't work) and

b) http://www.madteam.co/forum/development/%2...alaxy5%27-port/ (this is zip file for CWM)

2) copy 2nd file update-cm-7.1.0-RC1-MADTEAM-v0.7-signed.zip to ur root in your sdcard (note you can rename it to your update.zip or whatever you like)

3) flash ClockworkMplod-Galaxy5-v0.1.tar with odin (like usual, no need to extract it) and it will be rebooted in CWM recovery mode

4) choose update.zip from sdcard (or whatever name you've renamed it to update zip.

a) it will be shown ur list of file in ur sdcard then choose update-cm-7.1.0-RC1-MADTEAM-v0.7-signed.zip

b) there will be some progress and then V07 ROM will be installed automatically to your phone

5) Reboot your phone.

6) Data wipe/factory reset - NOT NECESSARY.

7) Done!
