edit file in system? better to use QTADB. its also can uninstall system apps.

adding some file in system.? QtADB can. its like explore your android with an explorer on pc.. that easy. to get to system just type System/ on file manager.

this kind of thing happens all the time with linux, when scripts run before the partitions are all loaded up into fstab
err... i used a terminal emulator and vi editor.
would appreciate it if someone gave an easier method.
i don't use root explorer so i don't know if that works

Making Link2SD work on Galaxy 5 (Eclair 2.1)

Get Root, install Link2SD and follow the instructions/requirements
Run Link2SD so that it creates the startup scripts

After this is where we reboot but Link2SD still doesn't work

Method 1

1. Install Root Explorer
Its not free but you can find it floating around.
2. Open root explorer and go to /etc folder
3. Tap the 'Mount R/W' button on the top right.
4. Find 'install-recovery.sh'. Tap and hold the file until the options menu appears. Select 'Open in Text Editor'


5. Change line 3 which reads 'sleep 2' to 'sleep 10' or more like 'sleep 20' if it doesn't work
6. Save changes and reboot

Method 2

1. Open Terminal Emulator and type



2. Use a file manager like ES File Explorer to open /etc/install-recovery.sh and edit it like steps 4,5 & 6 from Method 1

3. Undo the changes we did to file permissions in terminal emulator

- officially, no bug found n reported, im using it right now and its super fast.
- i think after using motafoca mod. there will no satisfaction using official update. i can assure that
- maybe next month we will get multitouch,. i think bcoz pros on irc channel debugging multitouch kernel. cant understand much coz they Brazilian.

i just pick motafoca edition because i like his own suggestion  , i hate stock apps. some of them like gmail, samsung keyboard, swype, all live wallpaper i just remove. then i pick some apps and put it on system/app, so i safe about 30mb internal memory.

all motafoca edition dont need to be extracted. just use one package .
