QUOTE(bestsane @ Jun 26 2011, 09:37 AM) Oh yeah finally just upgraded thru Kies. But damn I lost my Angry birds saved game with 90% 3 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi, Bro, how u did it? i think of any difference between upgrade from kies and Odin. I used MyBackup Pro, thought it backed up all my files, but it only backs up data & applications only!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE(bestsane @ Jul 7 2011, 08:51 AM) So I've upgraded to the official Froyo, but I noticed that the battery consumption is higher than using Eclair. All settings are like when I was using Eclair. Anything went wrong with my phone? Em, my battery drain quite fast also, i tot it is the apps i installed cause the problem? |

QUOTE(alexysc @ Jul 7 2011, 12:01 PM) just go to any site with videos (not youtube types) eg.. online newspapers like www.thestar.com.my . try clicking on its video and see if it plays on your phone. I tried some of the task killer also not so good, any recommend one? Thanks.Added on July 7, 2011, 12:11 pm that's normal coz' froyo uses more ram than eclair. try using task manager to switch off background apps that you're not using. QUOTE(alexysc @ Jul 19 2011, 11:16 PM) I don't use swap partition because formerly when I used it, I have some problems with wifi, and mad2sd. And now without swap, everything works wonderful with CM7.1 v0.9 + hotfix3. Bro, if let say we already flash to ClockworkMod, will it possible restore back to samsung ori one? our phone cpu normally is 600mhz, Max CPU to 700++ meanings that the CyanogenMod is Overclock our phone CPU? thanks in advance. This CM7.1 v.0.8 - 0.9 is extremely smooth without lags! The only thing not working at the moment is radio (without sound). If you don't mind about the radio, this is a great rom for everyday regular use. |

QUOTE(alexysc @ Jul 20 2011, 12:24 PM) 1) Boot to CWM mode and restore from there. Everything will be restored exactly as before. Bro, the SDcard do i need to make ext4 partition and fat32 partition before flash to CM, currrently i have 8G SDcard, Official Froyo 2.2 and baseband:I5503DXJP6 2) In CM, there are parameters settings. You are free to set to any clockspeed settings... if you don't want overclock, just set to your max CPU to 604MHz or even lower ...or if you want to higher ...it's up to your preference. any advise, Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(alexysc @ Jul 20 2011, 03:01 PM) You must partition your ext4 and must be primary. Thanks bro, will try to flash to CM tonight if possible The partition ext4 is where most apps and games will be stored. Therefore, if you want to have a lot of apps and games, you can partition it to a bigger size e.g 1.5GB. Then you'll have roughly 6.5GB space in your Fat32 for your personal stuffs, like music files, videos, pictures...etc. |
