as long as the firmware is stable, the battery doesn't drain out like crazy and it's bug free.. i don't care whether it's official or not.. smile.gif

been so long since i'm here.. plan to upgrade to 2.2 soon.
Before that, i wan to know what is the best way to backup my contact n sms so that I can restore them back after the upgrade.

alrdy got myphoneexplorer.. seem like the function is a bit more limited since it can only backup the sms n contact.. sad.gif

i plan to get a ideos x5 this week.. so i plan to upgrade my g5 to froyo and pass it to my wife..
n then i'll need to copy over all the contact/sms from g5 to x5..
thts y i need to know which software can do this.

hey guys.. juz now try to update my eclair to froyo thru kies..
it say cannot update or somethin.. no choice but to do use the firmware uploaded earlier here..

is it due to the unroot that I did on my phone earlier?

i m using the official froyo, and seem like i'm missing the "Enable always-on mobile" option under the mobile network setting.
anyone know where this function has been moved to?

how come no? is yours on official froyo rom? if yes, you should have that "MOBILE NETWORK connect to the internet" ...with a tick box beside it.
